It will be interesting to see how the mainline polls respond to the debate. I would be surprised if the margin for Harris didn't expand to 5%, or outside the margin of error. Given Trump's failure to develop an operational campaign, it's going to be tough for Trump to overcome 5%. With the FBI watching the Russians closely, I don't think they can help Trump much.

I don't think the Harris team will follow through on a second debate. Nor do I think that Trump will want a second debate. He's focused on his plan to screw up the election certification by legal maneuvers, obstruction by bureaucrats and violence.

A prediction: If Trump goes into Election Day winning Florida by only 2 points, he will lose Florida. The abortion referendum is going to cost Trump some points. When he was leading in the polls by 7 points, it wasn't a big deal. But if Trump's lead continues to shrink, it could be a big deal.

So, Trump admits he lost in 2020. I wonder how the J6 insurrectionists in jail today think about that?

Years ago, I worked for a company that had a single successful product, it's cash cow. But everyone knew that when the cash cow died from obsolescence, the company was dead meat. So, Top Management was continually making pronouncements about new products and services that would supplant the cash cow. All of those announced products and services came to nothing. As an employee, it was rather distressing, and I made an exit plan. After I left, the cash cow started failing, and the company effectively failed. I see the same with these pronouncements by Top Management that are disconnected from reality. Thailand is a cash cow for Top Management today, but if they run the country into the ground by focusing on Hubs and proclamations of Crackdowns and other useless endeavors, those left holding the bag will have a tough time.
