Anyone ever had a ladyboy LTR?
Danderman123 replied to Brian Nose's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
Not that I am commenting on your post, but I find that men who read topics about ladyboys but are compelled to proclaim how they would Never Ever remind me of bargirls who tell every customer “I no like Thai man”. -
Lucky old you in Thailand with a young wife

This is not a joke. Thai women tend to fall apart physically at an early age. -
You don't quite grasp the concept that the virus has evolved since vaccination became widespread. So when "they" made those statements, "they" were correct.

Pharmacy in Pattaya with wide range of Farang medications

Please remember that I am not looking for the cheapest medication, I am looking for a pharmacy that stocks medications that are not common. I went to Fascino on Theppasit Road, a nice lady told me they just sold their last box of Effient, but would order more. She wrote down my contact info and told me the new order would arrive by now. I am still waiting. In other words, she didn’t want to say no have and cannot get. -

No, I haven’t. Is that a video game? -
I am looking for a pharmacy in Pattaya that stocks Effient (Prasugrel). I have checked a lot of hole in the wall shops, none have it. I know it’s available in Thailand, because I bought some in Phuket. Once. My question is really where is there a large pharmacy in Pattaya with a lot of medications in stock, since many people need uncommon medications. If I don’t have any luck, I will go to Bangkok Hospital Pattaya, they may have it, but it’s very far to go on the off chance they have it. If that doesn’t work, I will have to go to Bangkok, but that is another topic.

If you are listening to music - What's Playing ? (2022)
Danderman123 replied to CharlieH's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
You are talking to someone who saw Led Zeppelin live. That’s the camp I am in. But, I know from experience that a happy bargirl is preferable to one that is annoyed by old folks’ music. Not that long ago, I was in a bar band in the US, playing for boomers. You would think that they would go for Classic Rock, but what they wanted was 40s music, from before they were born. So, yeah, I can relate to bargirls having to work in an environment where they have to listen to music from before they were born. And then there are gogos that constantly play trance, enough said about that. -

In the bars in Pattaya, there is constant tension over the music. The older Farang customers want to hear ancient songs from their youth, but the Thai ladies can’t stand that stuff. The bargirls, especially when they are drunk, want to hear Thai music, mostly Isaan morlam. But, it literally drives the customers away. A working compromise, at least in the past five years, is Latin tropical music, like this: The customers and the bargirls will tolerate it. The only problem is that nobody understands the lyrics. Except for me, which is kind of a nightmare for me. -
Meanwhile, it seems that everyone I know has a relative with Covid.

Perhaps you might consider that the infection rate is increasing due to unvaccinated low information types getting infected. Here's a hint: the US is highly vaccinated for Polio, but the Polio infection rate is increasing.

https://covid.cdc.gov/covid-data-tracker/#rates-by-vaccine-status People who were unvaccinated had a greater risk of testing positive for COVID-19 and a greater risk of dying from COVID-19 than people who were vaccinated overall (see below for the most recent rates). People who were vaccinated with a primary series and two additional or booster doses had lower death rates, followed by people who received one additional or booster dose, compared with those without an additional or booster dose. All vaccinated groups had lower risk of dying from COVID-19 compared with people who were unvaccinated.

I have done EVisas for Vietnam before, but the EVisa application is a bit different from before. There are “radio” buttons for some fields. Unfortunately, clicking on a button brings up a text box with the words “Choose Nationality”, for example, but clicking on the test does nothing. In other words, there is no way to insert your nationality, or complete any field that has radio buttons. Anyone complete an Evisa app lately?

Most bargirls have a "sell by" date around age 40, and most are aware of imminent forced retirement. There are a few who can continue to work bar into their 40s, but they are exceptional. So, bargirls start to think about retirement at some point in their 30s. Among the chief strategies : Marry a Farang. This is Plan A for many, but it has drawbacks. For one thing, its not easy to live with someone you don't love, for a long time. I have run into former bargirls who married for money, and its not pretty, especially when assets have already been transferred to them. Some deride their spouses, while others can maintain a facade of respect, especially if there are more assets to be transferred to them. Another problem is how to continue to see their Thai boyfriend. That can often mean letting the Farang husband go to bars, while they visit their " brother". Another common plan is to open a shop or restaurant back home. These have a high failure rate, and the bargirl returns to the bar after a few months. Strangely, working in a bar is poor preparation for running a business. Working massage for another 10 years is common. They can tell their Thai husband that they only massage, no boom-boom. Not stopping work is another strategy. This often has tragic results, as the bargirl has ever fewer customers. At some point, their Thai boyfriend will leave, as the money runs out, and he is forced to find a better cash cow. Another strategy: get a regular day job. Since factories don't hire older ladies, this is not common. Or the lady may get a low paying job at a shop, and go out to Beach Road after work, to get one customer before she goes home. Really uncommon: a bargirl who saved for retirement.

I am attempting to complete the Evisa online, but uploading the required photo doesn’t seem to work, I just get a red “application photo is required” comment. I have tried reducing the file size to 135kb, any hints on what I am doing wrong?

There is some new strain going around now, it doesn't seem to be detected by the Chinese ATK tests. Lots of people I know have it, they are typically sick for a few days, then okay. I had intimate contact with 2 peopke just before their first symptoms, so I might be confined to bed for a few days. Or my 7 vaccinations may protect me. I don't many of these cases are reported officially. Aa long as the hospitals don't fill up, this wave is nit a big deal.

So says my bargirlfriend, who recruits ladies for bars and gogos. Typically, bargirls are now operating under 10 day contracts. But, it’s unusual for a lady to work the 10 days. The reason is, when their bar shuts down, the ladies head for the boy bars that don’t close until 6 am. Which means the ladies are still hungover when their bar opens. So they barfine themselves and stay in the room. The only deterrent is that they have to pay cash to barfine themselves. If they work for an agency, their barfine is deducted at the end of their 10 day contract, so they never see the expense, it’s not tangible to them. Or, they have a new boyfriend and want to play rather than work. However, that’s only when the boyfriend is new. Once he has his hooks in her, he will drive the lady to work, borrow some cash from her, and go play while she works. If you buy a drink for a lady in a bar, she will tell you the story about her husband running off when she has a kid or two, requiring her to work bar to send money home. The reality is that the ladies send very little home, but blow most of their earnings on boys, clothes, tattoos, etc. Note when I write “boys” that includes tomboys. As July 1 rolls around, new bars and gogos are opening, so there is tremendous demand for ladies and salaries are rising. A lady could earn 30,000+ baht in a month, not counting drink commissions or earnings from customers. This is the best time to be a boyfriend for a bargirl, especially a gogo “model”.
