  1. Well I got mine yesterday. I was able to choose my 6 numbers. It’s quite easy even if you can’t read Thai. Usually I get 3x2 at 220 a pair costing 660. This time I got 6 (same numbers) for 480. Gotta be in it to win it!!!
  2. Quite true. But miss on an opportunity to nag about Thais? They do it to us.
  3. In my case the dermatologist gave me a cream. But he did say we need to establish the cause otherwise once you stop the cream it can come back. In my case I was pre-diabetic and was eating carbs when I felt like it. I stopped carbs as much as possible and never had an issue since. That’s many months ago. So if the cream is not helping you and you believe your blood sugar level ok then doing a swab is the best way to determine the cause of it.
  4. Have you checked your blood sugar? If you are diabetic or near-diabetic you are at high risk. Unless you address the cause of it the topical treatment will be of minor help at best.
  5. You keep buying your 1 baht little pieces from aurora at 100thb above gold prices while I get my multiple 10baht bullions at much lower markups. Obviously you’re too old to understand how online shopping or business works. ???????????????????????? for those interested the app photo attached.
  6. Stop smoking too much weed????????????
  7. If you want to get into investing or trading in gold buying from gold shops is not the cheapest way. Siam Gold App is what we use. You need to register with them and put a deposit. You can buy and sell online anytime at lower commission than gold shops. If you want the actual gold bars you can collect them from their place otherwise leave them in your account.
  8. Very unprofessional police work. Open fire in gas station? They’re lucky they didn’t hit by-standers. Idiots.
  9. Yes the Honda 650 is quite popular here. Priced well with ok power and speed and that sweet inline 4 sound. Infact my first choice was the cbr650r when deciding to upgrade. Somehow the CFO (wife) had a brain fart and said “it’s ok you can get any bike you want”. I wasn’t ready for 1L class so the best bike for price/power for me was the zx6r. I bought it the next day before she realized it cost quit a bit more than the cbr650r. Too late, you said it’s ok???????? If you’re planning to hire a Japanese 600 class bike for some serious fun they’re Honda cbr 600 rr/Kawasaki zx6r/yamaha r6/suzuki gsx r600. You’ll have a grin on your face long after returning the bike. Honda cbr 650 has 93hp but the cbr600rr has 113 hp. They’re designed for racing.
  10. You’re about right. There are a few bikes similar in size and appearance in the 400 to 650 cc range that may give the impression that they are comparable when parked side by side with ignition off. The difference becomes apparent right from the moment you start them up ????????????. With the CBR 500 I was able to get close to its limits in top speed and acceleration but with the zx6r I don’t have the balls to even get close. The red line rpm range is 15000 to 18000. I rarely go over 10000 as it goes wild at high rpms a risk not worth taking on public roads here.
  11. Her career is soiled.
  12. I disagree with your 20% assessment. ???????????????? He tried a few times to load more but they kept falling off. So he decided the limit was reached. I guess he used the same principle as the pick up drivers do ie load until can load no more! ????????????????
  13. Like any 4.5 year old boy my son is into cars and bikes and pays close attention on the road to his environment. He sees trucks and pickups loaded with durians and watermelons etc. and shows interest. Monkey see monkey do. How can we expect Thais to behave responsibly when from the young age they’re surrounded by poor conduct (by our standards) but seemingly acceptable by their peers. Hopefully he’ll get some education from me as he grows up. It’s shameful that the system does not care.
  14. I bought a cbr500r in 2017. It is actually 471cc just under 50hp two cylinder. It was ok but felt like a glorified Honda wave so upgraded to ninja zx6r with 636cc and near 130hp 4 cylinders. The difference is remarkable. I find bikes under 4 cylinders sound horrible especially with modified exhausts. More like a lawnmower!!!
  15. Well my friend google’s definition is: 1a(1) : the ability to learn or understand or to deal with new or trying situations : reason also : the skilled use of reason. (2) : the ability to apply knowledge to manipulate one's environment or to think abstractly as measured by objective criteria (such as tests) so yeah a master manipulator fits the definition I guess. As to a liar I suppose it takes some intelligence to convince others of one’s lies. I think you’re confusing intelligence with morals. Just about all Bond villains can be regarded as highly intelligent yet always up to no good. Right?
  16. I know a guy who has 4 girlfriends at the same time. Serious lady’s man. This is been going on for years and none the women know about the other. Now that requires a great deal of intelligence to pull off. Don’t you think?????????????
  17. So you’d rather be with the woman in the picture and not so smart over a very intelligent woman that you can have endless dialogues with but ugly. Are you that shallow? For me if I had to choose………Oh wait let me see the picture one more time……………. Damn she’s hot. Who cares if she doesn’t know the square root of whatever. If Putin woke up to this every morning he’d have no energy or desire to invade Ukraine. Yummy yummy yummy.
  18. It surely is interesting. Strict education in schools and also not having big remote and rural population may have something to do with it.
  19. FYI - A bit of fun fact. According to World Population Review 2022 the IQ results for Thailand and its immediate neighbors as follows: 5 country rank - Country -World ranking - IQ score 1 Cambodia 15 99.75 2 Myanmar 52 91.18 3 Thailand 64 88.87 4 Malaysia 73 87.58 5 Laos 114 80.99 Must say quite impressed with Cambodia, and Myanmar not so bad either. Citizens of those countries working as migrant laborers and being treated as sub-human by the Thais or even Malaysians can take comfort in knowing that at least they are smarter than them. May be worth posting this in our company lunch room that is made up of 70% migrant workers from Myanmar and Cambodia (Just for laughs). Laos was way off, wonder why. Is it the Isaan influence or may be the other way around? Just kidding, my wife is from Isaan but can't wait to tease her with these numbers when I get home!!! How they come up with these stats is an interesting yet separate topic.
  20. has anyone got any refund elsewhere when the company goes bust?
  21. She'll be very good at "lip service" me thinks. She would have nailed the "questions" category of Miss Universe contest where they have to talk BS about how they'd solve world hunger etc. What did you think I meant by "lip service" you dirty farang!!!
  22. one would think decisions relating to health fall within his portfolio. Yet he seems to speak with authority about other areas such as business, tourism, etc. Having said that the government you have is the government you deserve.
  23. Not unusual for me anymore. Thais have difficulty comprehending multidisciplinary tasks. High end tourism requires upgrading many things which they are yet to look into before making plans and announcements. I saw this mentality at work when I started 5 years ago. They prepare presentations on what they wish to achieve with timelines attached. At first I would scrutinize the plans for their flaws but now I just sit quiet and watch their plans come undone with their timelines shifting at every meeting. Ironically nobody seems to hold accountable those who came up with the plan and timelines. In my experience in the west if you propose a plan and promise to deliver and fxxx up there are consequences.
  24. Well he was. But now he’s back to normal (two halves). Which two? Not sure.
