  1. Here's another source: China’s Hypersonic Mystery Weapon Released Its Own Payload And Nobody Knows Why (Updated) (thedrive.com)
  2. China Tested Hypersonic Capability, U.S. Says | Arms Control Association This article is just one of many. OK, please share your source(s) about the missed target. Thanks. I do want to have the facts as I am sure you do too.
  3. Yeah, the US indeed has those subs, which can be tracked by the Chinese navy and their missiles could much more easily be intercepted than the missiles ejected from a hypersonic glide missile orbiting the earth in an erratic fashion. That's the difference.
  4. He must have sought the professional input from an online psychic...or maybe that's psycho.
  5. Obama wasn't just asleep at the wheel, he deluded himself into believing if the US took the unilateral step to reduce its military strength and modernization, Russia and China would follow. Incredibly naive, or by some observations, stupid or traitorous. Additionally, N. Korea made the most progress in having nukes during the Obama years.
  6. Chinese hypersonic missile test revealed unprecedented military capability: report | TheHill China has developed a hypersonic glide missile that appears to have the capability to launch targeted missiles from the main glide missile. The main glide missile also appears to be able to continuously orbit the earth in an erratic fashion at hypersonic speeds thus making tracking and neutralizing the main glide missile very difficult. The orbital ability of this hypersonic missile would allow it to target numerous locations along its orbital path, and would be able to hit targets that have their early warning and anti-missile systems facing the opposite direction from an incoming missile launched from the main hypersonic glide missile. It is very possible the missiles launched from the main glide missile could be armed with nuclear warheads. This new weapon has the clear capability of being a surprise, little or no warning, FIRST STRIKE nuclear weapon. The Chinese indeed appear to have taken the MAD doctrine to a whole new level.
  7. There is also some sort of "spiritual" aspect to China's aspirations. Centuries ago China was very intrepid in sending out ships to explore the Asia Pac and beyond regions. The skills they exported to the locals they visited describe a culture more advanced than most of the places they visited and traded with. This all stopped when some Confucian advisor to the then-Chinese Emperor told the Emperor this ship building/exploring thing needed to stop. The Emperor hence burned all the ships and the China's foray into exploration, trade and somewhat colonization of other countries stopped and China turned inward. During these centuries, Japan also saw itself as the pre-eminent hegemon of Asia Pac with its roots in their religious/spiritual beliefs; Japan and China have for centuries vied with each other as to which race/culture is superior. Both China and Japan believed they were superior to all other Asian cultures, but they also both believed they were superior to each other as well. As China drew itself inward, Japan seized the opportunity to take dominion over Asia Pac and they did so with brutal aggression. Then their defeat in WWII ended their attempt to reign superior vs China. Now it's China's turn; courtesy of the west enabling their rise economically and their new-found nationalist superiority thinking brought to life by Xi Jing Ping. One interesting analogy to pre WWII era Japan and current China. As Japan spread it's brutal hegemony in Asia Pac in late 19th and 20th centuries, the US attempted to constrain Japan via oil embargos as the US controlled 80% of the world's oil. Thus Japan struck back by bombing Pearl Harbor. The "oil" of the 21st century is widely regarded to reside in semiconductors; i.e. the basis of the Information Age. The US controls 100% of the advanced semiconductor design expertise. And China's semiconductor mfg expertise is at least 2 generations behind the US and Taiwan. Now, in addition to its advanced semiconductor design dominance, the US is bringing back semiconductor mfg to it's own shores, and Taiwan is also building new advanced fabs in the US. China hence relies on the US for advanced semiconductors, this explains their penchant for taking over Taiwan while it is still mfg advanced chips and why China is conducting asymmetrical warfare against the US and world at large. The US essentially "owns" the "oil" of the day.
  8. Throw in the UK and OZ to that moniker (at far as Asia Pac is concerned); both agreed to team up with the US and further, OZ rebuffed France at the last minute in buying their electric powered subs in favor of the US nuke powered subs offered to them. Additionally, OZ will have US cruise missiles stationed on the OZ western coast capable of reaching the Straits of Malacca. The US cannot and probably would not challenge China on it's own. The US' military power alone within about 1,000 miles of the China coast would be severely challenged by China. Additionally, Japan, India, Vietnam, S. Korea, Singapore also do not want China as the New Hegemon in Asia Pac and they have developed cooperation with the US concerning the China issue. The trick is, they and the US also do not want a "hot war" either. Although China sure likes to threaten that it will "go hot" in taking over Taiwan. Outside that 1,000 mile line, China only has about 6-10 warships capable of being "blue water navy" ships and neither does China have the experience or know-how for operating a blue water navy. My point of all this is the US is not fooling itself into believing its massive military capability is enough to stop China on its own within this 1,000 mile zone and more importantly, it has sought and to a certain degree achieved alliances with other nations in the region to stand up to China. Not so much the actions of a hegemon world cop. Now if one prefers China to wear that Top World Police badge in Asia/Pac and elsewhere, be careful what one wishes for. China's foisting their virus upon the world is just one way they conduct warfare. To a certain degree, the US and much of the rest of the world is already at war with China; they just don't know it or don't want to know it.
  9. Typical thick-headed construction lackey thinking..."see nail, hit hard with hammer; and anything else that sticks up that I don't like."
  10. As a former professional musician (trumpeter) who has performed with the Temptations, OJ's, Four Tops, Johnny Mathis, Bob Hope, The Smothers Brothers and a whole bunch more...I dedicate this song by the great Ray Charles to Dear Leader NuttyButter: "Hit the road Jack, don't ya' come back no more, no more, hit the road Jack and don't ya' come back no more...

  12. Can't wait to meet the honest Thai card dealers and 5 deck knock-off card shuffling machines at the blackjack tables...
  13. "Although not a doctor..."...This clown and the Chief of Clowns NuttyNutin should get together and go bowling. Maybe Nutty can hire him to schlepp drywall at one of his project sites.
  14. "I'm guessing you're a white guy."....I'm not guessing, but I am quite sure you are a racist.
  15. Sorry...Trevor Noah is hardly an unbiased source. If one needs to be in a city that has a high crime rate, having a legal and properly handled weapon is justified.
  16. At the very least, he should be found guilty of weapons charges. For the other charges, he went looking for trouble and he found it. Walking around with a weapon in a volatile setting is pretty stupid, unless he had a good reason for doing so, and it appears he didn't. I hope at least reckless endangerment or manslaughter. I don't think he went out looking to murder anyone but he sure needs to be held accountable for his very poor judgement. An important issue about all this is why are these riots allowed to go on ? Last summer was violent anarchy in many cities in the US and nothing much was done about it at the time. Using the excuse of bad cops shooting people does not justify it just as Rittenhouse is not justified in going around playing a pudgy Rambo. Law and order must apply to all sides.
  17. Like I stated clearly to you troll, as you seem challenged in various ways...I have a VERY low opinion of your opinion of my views and posts...have a nice day.
  18. You have your opinion concerning the competency of the Thai authorities and I have mine. If my sarcasm ( i.e. I don't do crack or any other drugs) concerning their competency and my comprehension therein runs afoul of your sensibilities, I really couldn't give a rat's rear end. I have very low opinion of your opinion of my opinions.
  19. Yeah, one might need to be on crack to take this guy seriously. Was it really that difficult for you to get that ???
  20. Oh my, golly gosh, gee whiz...I am beside myself with awe and amazement at his Grand Presence and can't wait for more of his shining and wise utterances....but now, the last dose of crack I took is wearing off; so time for another to maintain this precious vibe His Excellence exudes...
