  1. He didn't say anything different, if you bother to read his post closely. Again, this was discussed numerous times on these topics, so positions of posters are already on record. It's more about you jumping in, not bothering to read past comments, or to hasty to counter current ones.
  2. Half of those appearing in the article actually hold ideas close to what I posted.
  3. Read my post again. Read the many topics and posts you skipped discussing this. Hamas does not need to be totally 'eliminate' in order for it to stop being a major threat. Past examples - AQ, IS, Fatah.
  4. No, that would be your own ignorance speaking and your own echo chamber's view exaggerated and twisted. In effect, there is no need to totally crush Hamas, enough to hurt it bad enough to make it a non-factor (or a way lesser one). This will not solve the core problems, but will deal with the flavor of the day terrorist threat. There is no need to bomb the West Bank at all. Hamas infrastructure there is nothing compared to the Gaza Strip. Chase into Lebanon? Egypt? Are you even remotely familiar with the geography of the region? Countless? Another of your hyperbole exaggerations.
  5. Can't work in Gaza (or similar places) while also being anti-government (or whomever runs the place). They'll shut the operation down or make it unsafe. Can't speak up against local public sentiment either, or they won't trust you and work with you - and much of the 'work force' is local. So what happens is that people can it, even if they have different ideas, and in time this is internalized and becomes habit, or even replaces per-existing notions. Because it's not all untrue (Israel is 'bad' in many ways) - it's easier to accept the prevailing mindset and go along with the program. This in turn make it more accommodating for people with more closely aligned ideas to join, and so and so forth.
  6. 'why would I lie?' You're a troll. It's what you do. Maybe you can't help yourself.
  7. That basically captures the essence of the the 'contribution' by the poster replied to, and yourself.
  8. You saying 'war crimes' doesn't make anything 'war crimes'. Pariah state how? Did many countries severe relations? Are Israelis banned from countries they were previously allowed to visit?
  9. Uganda, Malawi, Jamaica, Zambia - these are notables, but I think there are others as well.
  10. @thaibeachlovers From the above: You do 'pass judgement' on the USA on an almost daily basis. As for 'comments from other posters', maybe your extensive 'ignore' list got something to do with that.
  11. Forgot to add - get a hold of extra tiles, preferably of the same lot (because of color variations) so that if patching is needed it'll look more or less ok.
  12. @billd766 You routinely treat information provided by Hamas as credible.
  13. You do not deal with 'facts', but dish your opinions, which you treat as 'facts.
  14. The maps being published, and the public announcements regarding attacks are facts.
  15. That's a nice pavement choice, pity. Not in CM, so don't know any relevant firms. We had (well, have) a similar issue, but with plain concrete. The only offer we got was to either dig and patch or to redo the whole thing. No decision so far (3 years down the line) so still watering by hose.
  16. Here's another tidbit appearing therein, not much expanded on later in the article. Maybe doesn't fit the narrative:
  17. This article relies heavily on input from Marc Garlasco. Marc Garlasco https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marc_Garlasco There's a lengthy account of events leading to him not being with HRW anymore: Exit from HRW over Nazi memorabilia https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marc_Garlasco#Exit_from_HRW_over_Nazi_memorabilia
  18. Which claim would that be? There are several issues referenced. You keep shouting BS, yet failing to clarify what it is you object to, exactly.
  19. You claim 'war crimes'. There is no actual investigation, there is no such definitive pronouncement by relevant bodies. It's an opinion, mostly aired by biased sources, people, bodies. It's not a fact as your seem to think. To put it in words which might be easier for you to understand - you're jumping the gun. I've no idea what 'independent sources' you're on about, or how does that change the fact that there is no proper legal verdict on 'war crimes' being committed. As for your last bit - if you say so, kinda doubt it myself.
  20. Stand by what? That you make comments co-opting 'very reasonable person on the planet' ? Quite arrogant and presumptuous, if not unusual in your case.
  21. You've said that - and failed to clarify which parts you refer to - Hamas structure? Power dynamics? Recent developments?
  22. Yawn, the usual word games, deflections. Here's what you posted:
  23. You state 'war crimes', as if it's a fact, an agreed upon legal reality. You do this repeatedly. That's pretty much how you roll - never bothering much with qualifying your remarks, views, opinions and so on - always presenting them as fact. I did not fail to acknowledge anything. I simply don't jump in stating things which aren't decided. I have acknowledged that the civilian death toll is very high, that there are surely instances which could (and will be) decided as 'war crimes'. Blanket statements such as you dabble in are something else. Consider that in light of Hamas's very extensive underground facilities, they could have provided shelter for many of these civilians. They choose not to. Hamas is the government in the Gaza Strip. You do not seem to much bothered with that point.
