  1. More than 171 means 172? Otherwise why use such a specific number. But 172 foreign nationals have violated traffic orders. That's nothing, there must be more to this.
  2. The BBC has been exposed as the government mouthpiece, has been called out and forced to back down.
  3. Disagree. They have a long term strategy and are slowly taking control of the region and expanding influence all over. With the west occupied elsewhere they may speed up their local ambitions.
  4. "Taxing the public under the threat of jail time to run a state TV station that preaches a particular political ideology to the masses that pay their huge salaries sounds like something that would happen in China or N.Korea. Actually, now I'm starting to see why you approve of it. " Exactly, and it's the government preaching its ideology via the BBC
  5. Apparently it was the second bank to collapse, we're up to 3 now. https://www.news.com.au/finance/business/banking/us-signature-bank-shut-down-by-regulators-days-after-svb-collapses/news-story/a31b2ad2158151bf91acf811da1be7e6
  6. I value the opinion of someone in the know higher than that of proton.
  7. They'll just ignore it all.

    Night taxi

Plenty of taxis/tuktuks driving around looking for fares.
  9. Athletes are representing their country.
  10. Why would you add the 'don't knows' to the votes in favour of his suspension? Makes no sense at all except that it fits your opinion. The comments section of the Telegraph as an indication of what people think? The comments section of the guardian would be equally valid.
  11. Seems the former director general of the BBC disagrees with this decision. https://www.theguardian.com/media/2023/mar/11/bbc-has-undermined-its-credibility-with-lineker-move-says-greg-dyke "Dyke told BBC Radio 4’s Today programme: “There is a long-established precedent in the BBC that is that if you’re an entertainment presenter or you’re a football presenter, then you are not bound by those same rules. The real problem of today is that the BBC has undermined its own credibility by doing this because it looks like – the perception out there – that the BBC has bowed to government pressure.""
  12. German SA would be a more apt comparison.
  13. Disagree with this decision, hope the project gets cancelled.
  14. "very few, to non, details, with just attention grabbing title" Like all your posts on this topic then.
  15. So someone opposing the monarchy has nothing to do with the thread 'New Era of Vocal Opposition'. You mean you disagree with his view.
  16. I like my monarchy. There have been quite a few scandals in the past, with present social media that could, probably would, have meant the end of the monarchy, but they seem to have adjusted.
  17. So you have anything on the topic since you claim to have an informed opinion, or only want to comment on other posters?
  18. No chance at all, you don't stop a cult with facts. Telling them it was all lies forces them to confront themselves and admit they've been cheated. Won't happen.
  19. Anyone can pay the fine. It is eg quite common to have a motorbike taxi go and pay the fine. And of course he doesn't have your license.
  20. I don't think the more right of the center oriented members will agree with that.
