So let me get this straight, and forgive me for discussing the previous drowning… the guy was saving his kid and wife or something, the rescuers got to the wife and child. Ok good job. And I assume in the hectic nature of it all the man then disappeared and they could not find him? I’m sorry but seems to me that it would be quite literally easy as pie to save someone unless they got completely distracted by the wife and child and the man perished in the meantime. Which I suppose is what must have happened.

In 2 meter waves it's difficult to spot a head bobbing out of the water.

You mean - like illegally entering the Capital building - to be charged and jailed for an (unnarmed) insurrection?

I gotta agree and so do all rational people - the clear bias in the USA justice system is evidenced - Trump will tear them all down when POTUS.

And that is what scares them most - last time he naively tried to appease and change them - next year he will just destroy them.

"the clear bias in the USA justice system is evidenced".

Agree, in an unbiased system Trump would have been locked up many times already.

I think from what I understand is that many were issued citations and not taken in. All of the participants should have been printed and booked and that would yield a lot of evidence. Confiscate the Palestinian costumes as evidence and then you have DNA. Now you will with 100% certainty be able to discern who was where.

They know who was there. But the issue is not being able to prove who committed crimes like vandalism.

If you had read both articles then you would know its not as simple as that. Who told you there was no evidence linking 31 individuals? Why did the DA also use his "professional discretion".

Are you sure you've read all the posts in this topic? its tedious having to write the same thing again and again when its here already.

It is as simple as that.

That's what the op said, that's what your link said and that's what I said. There's no evidence linking the 31 individuals to crimes.

Why did they get arrested if they did not commit at the least a misdemeanor? Were they trespassing? Did they had arrested and charged?

46 were arrested, 31 no charges. So you're saying there is evidence that those 31 committed vandalism or another crime? Sounds to me there's evidence of 15 people's crimes, so they have been identified committing the crimes, but not of the other 31. They know their identities but can't prove they committed crimes.

Europeans are the same race as British people , so it cannot be racism involved

That's not what was said. Poster said that barriers were set up as a result of Brexit, and Brexit was the result of racism. Personally I don't agree with that premises, I think Brexit was the result of a misplaced superiority feeling from people who can't accept Britain isn't a major world power anymore.

Boeing won't face charges for violating a 737 Max plea deal, report says.

US official says no decision yet on whether to prosecute Boeing.

    https://finance.yahoo.com/news/boeing-expected-evade-criminal-charges-155826121.html

    From the Yahoo link

"Earlier on Friday, the New York Times, citing anonymous sources, reported that the Justice Department "is expected to allow Boeing to escape criminal prosecution" for violating the DPA.

Leon's email said, "The reporting was simply not correct."

The Times later revised its story to say that the Justice Department is "considering allowing" Boeing to avoid criminal prosecution."
