Guess this is a problem specially for people living permanently in thailand. We stay 7 months each year, rest norway. Told my wife early: In "developed" countries ladies not workimg are considered lazy or stupid, or both. She understood ???? bot among ladies residing thailand full time, they are considered smart, hiso and rich... Belive it or not ????

Think delay most due to "the paperworks". Why go thailand if same options elsehwere without.

I bought a wistino solar cell wjfi camera via lazada some months ago. Downloaded app and made account. Communication Wifi to camera not working. Sendt mail to wistino and lazada for help, no good. They say:send video. I send video and they say need see youtube instruction video. Tell them seen multiple times and done as it says. They ask me to send new video. Been to security shop pattaya for help-they helped and says connection defect. I tell wistino like get new camera on 1 year warranty. They send med picture om some dancing/smiling bear... Life is hard.....

Check on goverment electric supply. Internet. Government water supply-regularity. Road access. Drilling for water-ironized or salt ? Your security- register right to stay on property as long as you live ??? Do builder speak english?? Impotant-be on site, every day to check whats going on, and do adjustments/improvement along the way. Ps: good luck-memory for life ????

Have used last months my bangkok bank be1st card in norway, holland and paying via internet to klm and ebay. No problem. However, i had to call number on back of the card in november to ask bank reopen it. Think they did something after many thais lost money on internet fraud last part of 2021.

Happened to me in bangkok bank. Due to recent internet frauds they made it impissible to use their cards outside thailand. Then i called them and they opened up my card. Now back to normal and woked with klm as well as european restaurants ????

Normally, the last number in you account number is a control number. You cant compare iban, which is for international, computerized transfers whith a need to identify the receiving bank with ordinary transfers In norway account numbers are eleven digits and last is a control digit. As far as i have seen in my 42 years bank life, most countries it is much the same, swift is another issue.

Guess depends on rules in departing country. Personally send thb 100.000 each time. No problem. But know can be reported to norwegian central bank, which is mo problem since "white money" ????

Maybe example better: Went into quarantine 25.9 7 days will be october 3. After new rules is effective. So then we should be able to leave ????

I am in same situation as uou, arriving sept 25. Reducing period would be the natural ting to do, should go without saying in most of the world. Have been seeking info, nothing to be found, only about new arrivals. Hotel (luxor, nortraburi) are of course not interestet helping. Have emailed thai embassy norway and norwegian embassy, bangkok for advice, no answer yet..

Did visit thai embassy norway this friday. They told 3 days after submissing online. But my experience applying for my thai wife was 3 hours. Told them but they said "no, no, 3 days" ????
