  2. Only 20k Sterling all in.... surprised they did not go a bit harder on the insurance. Have been going through the bill I received from a hospital with similar name. At 5b each for a tissue I thought to myself no wonder the locals use a garden hose to clean their ass !!
  3. Yes, I understand how it works when cancelled but OP has gone back to employer (if you read the thread) and it appears the permission to stay was never cancelled. Which the begs my previous question, why would they ask for work cancellation letter if permission to stay in passport appears to be "valid"?
  4. Right ok. If the permission to stay is still "valid" why would they be asking for work termination letter ?
  5. Slight correction. He'd be leaving on a permission to stay extension stamp. Now I do not have my passport on hand so cannot check mine but does the extension mention the reason why it was granted...... Eg: working ?

  13. yep they will and do, happened in very recently. Iam currently in a government hospital recovering from severe pneumonia and is covered by Social Security (28 days ICU, moved to general yesterday) However I first presented to a large private hospital in Pattaya thinking my private health insurance would cover. They came up with some bullshot excuse and declined to cover. I now have a 280k bill to pay that hospital (3 days ICU).

  20. I do not know what the specialist was, I got the feeling the doc only referred as I asked. I'll not be dealing with that hospital again.
  21. Yes I did ask if I needed a follow up, Doc booked me for a visit with the specialist. When I arrived at reception that evening of the appointment they refused treatment as I did not have a recent negative PCR on record.
