But yeah, they dont get sick... they don't catch covid.... they dont fall pregnant....they dont fall off their scooter on the way to work.... they are not members of a Union that has unrealistic workplace and employment requests forcing the company into labour court every year negotiating EBA's. Etc Etc Etc.
  6. We recently employed a 2nd Automation Engineer and have placed orders for an addition 10 robots to add to our current fleet of 30.... Robots are much more reliable than people... and they produce consistent results !! doubling min wage will have us buying more robots and employing skilled (not min wage workers) to run them.
  7. Doubling the min wage would force all manufacturing businesses to dramatically increase their costs in turn making Thailand an unattractive place to manufacture. Are the robber barons really that stupid ? Don't bite the hand that feeds you comes to mind !!

  16. Ford in Pattaya does the Chev work, the inherited it when they re-branded the main dealership. GM and Izuzu parted ways back in 2016 so not sure how much training an Izuzu tech would have on any chev newer than that.
  17. Yeah those that live out in some one horse hick town simply do not know whats available in the big smoke.... instead whinging parts are no longer available because the only garage/beer bar does not have it on the shelf.
  18. an extra 20 a month would afford me to drink imported beers.
  19. I suspect they only accept nasal swab PCR. Can't the testing be avoid and instead spend 5 days in a covid Prison upon arrival ?
  20. See now if I lived in a condo with an under ground car know to flood during heavy rains.... well I would likely move my car to another spot. To me a better option than blaming someone else.
