It's called public information and awareness. no, far from correct. Now the religious zealots and wingnuts are criminalising anything to do with abortion. They don't, that's not the issue. It doesn't make it OK when they only allow abortions in the most extreme cases where the mothers life is threatened. Even that is being criminalised. It should be entirely up to the mother in the first two trimesters at least. It's her body. The religious idiots should be doing more to save babies which have already been born. This argument is pure religion and nothing else. They're only interested in trying to protect the birth rate of their own ilk. Black babies in Africa, not so much.

New climate study raises alarm for Asian Megacities

how do you replicate a climate crisis? What experimentation? There is only historical data which can be examined and it has been. The science is in, we are in an existential crisis. Don't act and we are doomed. -

Almost all climate scientists do believe it's bad. Climate change causes droughts and floods which reduce crop yields. Only in colder climates does it do what you say and then at the cost of the ecologies there. Your argument is extremely facile. -

If we are compelling people to burn wood and dung instead of gas ( I haven't seen evidence of that ) then it can't be at the behest of fossil fuel companies. No have I seen widespread examples of hydro being shut down but I wish they would because dams are exceptionally bad for the environment. Nuclear is being shut down because it's extremely dangerous and waste needs to be reliably stored for a millennia. The only viable alternatives we have at present are solar, wind, tidal and geothermal. -

That's like saying if they can't make London trains run on time then they can't predict climate change. -

Fox News faces potential 'financial death penalty' due to Dominion lawsuit If Dominion is successful, then all that would be left to determine is the amount of damages that Dominion is entitled to receive. Beyond that $1.6 billion, is the prospect of punitive damages that could also be in the billions -- putting the financial stability of the network at risk. Dominion is "also seeking punitive damages, which are not capped under New York state law and could also be in the billions of dollars. It would send a ringing message to all media companies to keep themselves in check and uphold the truth." https://www.rawstory.com/fox-news-dominion-2659583123/ -
I just bought an Apple mac mini m2 with 16Gb RAM and 512 Gb storage for 39,500 baht. Even though it's not the most powerful machine for the money, my reasoning was reliability and stability and macos still allows me everything ubuntu has for app development. I hate windows operating system. Also the ARM CPU uses a third of the power of any equivalent CPU and has no fan, adding to reliability and isn't susceptible to dust issues.

New climate study raises alarm for Asian Megacities

Fossil fuel millionaires collectively pumped more than $100m into Republican presidential contenders’ efforts last year – in an unprecedented investment by the oil and gas industry in the party’s future. About one in three dollars donated to Republican hopefuls from mega-rich individuals came from people who owe their fortunes to fossil fuels – and who stand to lose the most in the fight against climate change. https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2016/mar/03/oil-and-gas-industry-has-pumped-millions-into-republican-campaigns Led by the oil and gas industry, this sector regularly pumps the vast majority of its campaign contributions into Republican coffers. Even as other traditionally GOP-inclined industries have shifted somewhat to the left, this sector has remained rock-solid red. https://www.opensecrets.org/industries/indus.php?ind=e01 Amid internal calls for climate action, a study finds that Republicans are the only climate-denying conservative party in the world https://www.theguardian.com/environment/climate-consensus-97-per-cent/2015/oct/05/the-republican-party-stands-alone-in-climate-denial Perhaps I should have said most of the LARGEST US companies don't pay income tax. But I think my point is still made. Anyway, here are some links as requested to prove my point. The current United States tax code allows some of the biggest company names in the country to not pay any federal corporate income tax. In fact, at least 55 of the largest corporations in America paid no federal corporate income taxes on their 2020 profits, according to the Institute on Taxation and Economic Policy. The companies include names like Whirlpool, FedEx, Nike, HP and Salesforce. The 55 corporations cited by ITEP would have paid a collective total of $8.5 billion. Instead, they received $3.5 billion in tax rebates, collectively draining $12 billion from the U.S. government, according to the institute. The figures don’t include corporations that paid only some but not all of these taxes. https://www.cnbc.com/2022/04/14/how-companies-like-amazon-nike-and-fedex-avoid-paying-federal-taxes-.html https://www.nytimes.com/2021/04/02/business/economy/zero-corporate-tax.html https://www.axios.com/2022/04/26/these-companies-paid-little-to-no-taxes-last-year You're welcome. By the way, would any of this evidence persuade you to accept that your challenge was not supported by facts and that my claims were true? -
REPORTER: Why did you wait so long to denounce neo-Nazis? TRUMP: I didn’t wait long. I didn’t wait long. I didn’t wait long. I wanted to make sure, unlike most politicians, that what I said was correct, not make a quick statement. The statement I made on Saturday, the first statement, was a fine statement, but you don’t make statements that direct unless you know the fact. And it takes a little while to get the facts. You still don’t know the facts. And it is a very, very important process to me. It is a very important statement. So I don’t want to go quickly and just make a statement for the sake of making a political statement. I want to know the facts. If you go back to my statement, in fact I brought it. I brought it. https://www.politico.com/story/2017/08/15/full-text-trump-comments-white-supremacists-alt-left-transcript-241662
