  1. There's nothing wrong with covering oneself with tattoos. I just got home from a wander down soi 6 to buy a coffee and say hi to a heavily tattooed girl. Fully half the girls and men in the street were extensively tattooed. That doesn't mean they should be surprised when the police profile them. As is said, it's very unlikely that tattoos alone attracted their attention. The police sitting around soi 6 didn't bat an eyelid. Your argument that it was the tattoos is obviously flawed.
  2. At least you acknowledge that is is often illegal. It's your own conspiracy theory that the police ignore the rules.
  3. The real, issue here is he obviously looked like a meth addict, nothing to do with his apparel and accessories. I was stopped by police in the early 80's in Soi 81 Sukhumvit in Bangkok. In those days it was swamp with huts on stilts. I was staying with three sisters. As I walked to Sukhumvit I was wearing a canvas bag which was my habit because I rode a bike back home in those days. I was also very skinny and had long hair. Obviously the summation of my appearance and location alerted to the police to the possibility I was carrying drugs, presumably heroin in those days. They searched me on the spot and sent me on my way.
  4. I remember seeing a female uni student on the train in Singapore. She was carrying a calico bag which had "this bag contains a bomb" in large black letters. Nobody batted an eyelid.
  5. There's a strong possibility she is going to trade a deciding vote for speaker for a powerful position.
  6. Nothing to do with them. The best solution has been explained to you. Change all your passwords and use 2FA authentication wherever possible. Do not use easy to hack passwords. Look up "strong password".
  7. The way to fix it is to process the asylum applications more quickly and send back those who are rejected. That means more immigration officers, not more wall.
  8. The person doing the profile should be prohibited from race based profiling. The person being profiled has little or no idea why he's being profiled. Other than that, profiling is a useful policing tool. It obviously was neither the tattoos or the backpack which aroused suspicion in this case. Plenty of people have tattoos and backpacks and are not randomly stopped by police.
  9. Could you explain more about the nature of the demand and perhaps how you know you were hacked?
  10. 'Are you stupid or what': Marjorie Taylor Greene buried in mockery after claiming Pelosi was 'complicit' in Jan. 6 attack "So democrats won the election and were in congress for the certification of the official results anointing Biden president and they decided to secretly try to overthrow themselves to stop it to make trump look bad while he happened to be down the street telling people to do that?" wondered Condé Nast editor Luke Zaleski. https://www.rawstory.com/are-you-stupid-or-what-marjorie-taylor-greene-buried-in-mockery-after-claiming-pelosi-was-complicit-in-jan-6/
  11. They do their best but in this case someone threw a spanner in the works by letting them all out of prison.
  12. I love it. Lets mix up random words with contradictory meanings to create a new epithet.
  13. MAGA Republicans are taking advantage of the storm to inflict cruelty. Very reminiscent of a time when they separated children from their parents, locked them in cages and deported the parents without trace in many cases. Savagery at its worst. If the bus had broken down those people could have been frostbitten within minutes. Or worse, and it would have entailed a major emergency rescue effort. These people should be in jail. Democrats are blasting the busing of migrants to Vice PresidentHarris’ Washington, D.C., residence on Christmas Eve, taking aim at Texas Gov. Greg Abbott (R), who they blame for dropping the groups off in below-freezing temperatures on a holiday. “Governor Abbott abandoned children on the side of the road in below freezing temperatures on Christmas Eve without coordinating with any Federal or local authorities,” White House assistant press secretary Abdullah Hasan told The Hill in a statement. “This was a cruel, dangerous, and shameful stunt.”
  14. That may be true but it isn't the point as far as I'm concerned. A number of passengers complained, that is the point.
  15. Yes I am when it's not race based. It clearly did the job this time unless there was some other evidence not disclosed in the article.
  16. The Electoral College is hazardous to democracy, Raskin says Speaking on CBS’ “Face the Nation,” the Maryland Democrat said: “I think that the Electoral College now, which has given us five popular vote losers as president in our history — twice in this century alone — has become a danger.” Raskin said it is about time that Americans elect presidents the same way they elect other public officials, through the popular vote. https://www.politico.com/news/2022/12/25/jamie-raskin-electoral-college-danger-00075588

  20. And get profiled like he did ???? He's probably wishing he spent 50 baht on a motorcycle taxi. He won't figure that out till the meth wears off.
