  1. Other than ten years of testing of mRNA and extensive testing done before release you'd be right. That said, there was an imperative to bring out the vaccine sooner rather than later to prevent the greater tragedy of millions of lives lost to the virus. Other than every vaccine having some potential side effects, mainly due to allergy, there is no research suggesting that covid vaccines are any worse than any other vaccines. The only identified issues specific to covid vaccines involved non mRNA vaccines like AZ. You might want to follow forum rules and put up links to claims of fact.
  2. I'm not saying that at all. I'm saying that if the vaccine deniers want to put up then let them. All they seem interested in is innuendo and conspiracy theories.
  3. I'd say bring it on, I'm totally in favour of sunshine. Always. The chances are pretty slim given the large amount of medical research into the vaccines. At the present time it seems to be yet another conspiracy theory involving thousands of people. What would it take to be skeptical of the agenda driven far right press?
  4. The white rabbit is no longer the world's richest man. https://www.abc.net.au/news/2022-12-15/who-is-bernard-arnault-the-new-richest-person-elon-musk/101774806
  5. Exactly that model. It's very easy to add an nvme drive and memory. Mine is a 1Tb drive with 32 Gb memory. I use it heavily and rarely turn it off. I also do a lot of dev work so the CPU works hard. The fan is mostly inaudible but never noisy. I think if I were to go again I'd take the Intel NUC 11 only because it is fanless and potentially more reliable. I thoroughly recommend the ASUS as above.
  6. Serious question. Is DeSantis even using that slogan?
  7. Too early in the morning for me. lol

  9. I think one of the biggest reasons that Walker did so well was his opposition was also black so the right wing just voted the ticket. Interestingly, large numbers of suburban GOP voters just stayed home in the run off.
  10. I could care less about any sport but I'm hoping that Argentina win. Two reasons, France won last time and Messi has never won a world cup. It would be a fitting end to a stellar career.
  11. Showing your age a bit here. ????
  12. I don't pay a lot of attention to him but I used to watch him a lot being part of a panel on MSNBC which I gave him credit for. But he doesn't seem to stand for anything, he's just a populist. He seems oblivious to being black, a bit like West.
  13. I agree it's absolutely impossible for a black man to become the GOP presidential nominee. White supremacist militia's tripled after Obama was elected. Historically, early bets never seem to become the chosen one for the GOP. They all have too much baggage to survive. Imagine if Trump had declared in 2014? He wouldn't have stood a chance.
  14. Outgoing White House medical adviser Anthony Fauci said Wednesday that he “doesn’t have a clue” what Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis hopes to accomplish by calling for a state grand jury investigation into alleged “crimes” related to COVID-19 vaccines. “I don’t have a clue … what he’s asking for. I mean, we have a vaccine that, unequivocally, is highly effective and safe and has saved literally millions of lives,” https://thehill.com/policy/healthcare/3775812-fauci-responds-to-desantis-call-for-covid-19-vaccine-investigation/
  15. Jurors 'hated' Trump Organization's 'stupid' defense in tax fraud trial “Everyone hated ‘Weisselberg did it for Weisselberg,'" the juror said. "We found it demeaning. How stupid do you think we are? https://www.rawstory.com/trump-organization-tax-fraud-trial-2658962400/
  16. DeSantis has surrounded himself with sycophants who have no qualifications in virology. They seize on small factoids like there can be complications from vaccines and weave them into a false narrative. The fact is that the same side effects are a magnitude more common and worse from the virus itself. This anti-science rhetoric is a ploy to attract the dimwits for political advantage at the cost of many lives. Evil personified. source: BBC cable TV news.
  17. It doesn't take long. They are a commodity item these days (a few hundred dollars) and you can just program them and leave them to work. The learning curve is not great. One benefit is accuracy.
  18. I can hear the footfalls of the advertisers running for the exits and the scratching of quills on paper as TSLA sue Musk for reputational harm derived from advertising on Twitter.
  19. You just said you had no idea who Q anon was. Are you going to follow Elon on this? Do you believe him? If not, why are you commenting?
  20. Try a 3D printer? They are quite cheap these days.
  21. Who is going to pay for testing required by law?
  22. The research was paid for by pharmaceuticals? Nothing to see there.
  23. More likely Tim Scott. https://www.politico.com/news/2022/12/12/trump-gop-senators-tim-scott-presidential-00073280
  24. Show me an example of where the MSM are saying that and NOT quoting an independent scientific conclusion.
  25. The only way I can see how he escapes the rent bill is to bankrupt Twitter but I think that's actually what you meant by "runner".
