And yet China and France were able to vaccinate their citizens in Thailand, despite having much smaller embassies and, in the case of China, many, many more citizens in Thailand than does the US.
Yes thats true. Be curious how that pans out and how they do it logistically.
Hopefully we get Moderna here sooner than later. Until then stay safe.

I am sure you would be so much happier in America.
More than 600,000 dead because of Covid. And now they are proud that fewer than 300 Americans die per day because of Covid.
Imagine if Thailand would be like America. Thanks but no thanks.
Thailand may start having a death toll not unlike India and Brazil.

It's hard to blame them. There is more expats throughout the world than any other country. If Thailand then why not Paraguay, Vietnam, etc.
How would you implement that. Thailand can't even vaccinate there own population.
If you've been to either embassy in Thailand it's not ready for thousands of American expats to be vaccinated. There operating on a skeleton crew. Security there makes this a non-starter.

Definitely not worth a confrontation.
If the establishment isn't asking them to put a shirt on then move on to the next Lady boy bar.

The Chinese will probably come they won't mind wearing those GPS wristband trackers like prisoners they're used to it.
In fact why not put em in Shackles whilst ya at it.
Can't see many Farang digging it though.Chinese government isn't allowing travel to Thailand. Domestic travel tourism only. Anutins gushing sickly obsession with China didn't pay off.

Thailand citizens are missing out on so many good products available in other countries because of the hellishly high import/luxury taxes here.
Now they want to add/increase the taxes again!?!

Meanwhile Bangkok has only 20 emergency beds left available for COVID-19 patients.
"Citing information, as of June 21st, he said that severe cases have occupied 409 beds in state hospitals, leaving about 20 unoccupied beds to accommodate the severe cases, who include COVID-19 patients in need of surgery or emergency treatment"

you haven't seen anything yet
with Alpha and Delta now surging in Thailand and your government messed up on effective vaccines ............................................ it really goes down hill from here
people in Thailand should be demanding that heads roll right now for this very obvious cluster
Time for Prayut to resign and Anutin to face charges of unusual wealth and incompetence
They all deserve to be jailed
how on earth the Thai people are putting up with this is quite shocking
Totally ridiculous. And that usless Sinovac grabs headlines eveytime the government buys more of rhe overpriced <deleted>.
I was talking with my wife and she said that out of all the incompetent and corrupt governments this is one is the worst.

Good time for people to stop drinking. Best thing I ever did was quit drinking alcohol. Also best thing to the people closest to me.

Calmette-guérin vaccine might be better than Sinovac...????
Studies have shown 68 percent protection against SARS-CoV-2 (Covid-19 in double-blind), actually in level with AstraZeneca, some even says higher protection than AZ.
Calmette-guérin is an old vaccine to protect against TB, and it's also suggested to give some level of protection against dengue-fever (I believe only a few small studies so far).
Or the government could important Pfeizer or Moderna vaccines that are over 95% Effective.

Keep pumping useless information like TAT.
Everyone has social media and has access to World news. It's as if the government doesn't realize this.
I see the "Dinasor" analogy.

Im going to wait. Sinovac is useless and Astra Zeneca is only a little better, 66% with the Delta variant that will be dominant in a few months. Our family and myself have already booked a Moderna vaccine in Udon Thani Bangkok Hospital. We're just staying close to home until then.

There's a surprise.
These are doctors advice. The people who want to open up just have dollar signs in mind. If it gets like India the problem will be much bigger than "millions of people out of work".

Weve had dozens of air- conditioners in our house. I used a Daikin 24 btu inverter for about two weeks. It couldn't keep up with the heat and bought a Mitsubishi 24 btu. I was told the inverters struggle during extremely hot days.
I would put the two inverters in one room then add a Mitsubishi into the replacement room or the room you sleep.
Its not cheap but you'll be comfortable for the next 10 years. You'll save electricity because the condenser won't run as long and struggle during the extreme heat.

Shoppee before Lazada because of easier to get your money back if it's a faulty product.
Amazon for higher end electric and computers.
I usually get some of the duty tax returned after a few weeks.
Ive also used Ali Baba to import expensive pool equipment and specialty pool tiles because even with shipping and customs its still 20-40% cheaper than Thailand excessive important taxes plus the huge mark-up here in Thailand, not unlike Thai owned hotels during COVID-19.

I understand some front line health workers in Indonesia who have been vaccinated with Sinovac are now dying from COVID infection.
Yes, over 350 of them. Also countries that have taken it like Chile and the Sychelles are having the same reoccurrence of the virus.

Yes private hospitals have said they have been stopped at every chance to get vaccines by the government.
Now a convicted heroin dealer has been appointed the second highest position in the government.
Mind boggling?

Thailand needs millions of Rna vaccines. The Philippines just ordered 50 million Pfeizer vaccines. Whats the excuse for Thailand. Sinovac is basically useless against the Delta variant but they keep getting more of it. Sinovac creates a false sense of safety that will lead to more transmission down the line.
