Not according to Chili,Sychelles, and other countries using Sinovac. Seems not to be working. The Chinese even admitted so.

China's top disease control official has said the efficacy of the country's Covid vaccines is low, in a rare admission of weakness.
In a press conference, Gao <deleted> added that China was considering mixing vaccines as a way of boosting efficacy.
China has developed four different vaccines approved for public use, though some trials abroad had suggested efficacy as low as 50%.

China has admitted to disappointing results. Anutin and pryut need to stop using this inferior vaccine, basically useless. Astrveneca isn't much good against variants of the virus. Moderna looks best, hopefully get it from a private hospital.
Issan workers at my house said there not getting the "China mans poison". Interesting, first time I have heard any debate up here in Issan.

I rarely see Foreigners flouting the mask law. Once, a Russian family wouldn't cover there nose holes with the mask. Just the usual scare mongering.

Great country but terrible government. But theres worse. People love Thailand but dream of a democracy and stable Kingdom. Then it would be perfect.

Just now, Surelynot said:
I always think "how do they live with themselves", "how can they justify what they do".........but then remember they have a totally different mindset........what they do isn't wrong their world.
Obviously. It's still upsetting. We have young children and Im older. I definitely don't want to get sick. Imagine having to take our toddler to a hospital during a pandemic.

No more so than anyone else in Thailand I would imagine...maybe less as having been vaccinated their bodies are primed to react quickly to suppress any new virus infection. Studies are showing that vaccinated people are much less likely to shed and pass on infections because their bodies are so effective in suppressing viral replication that they have very little in their body to spread if they catch it again.
Unfortunately they can still spread the virus. Then the virus can mutate.

I got one, about 10,000 baht. I used it for about 2 weeks and now its in storage. Tried again but the remote doesn't work. It worked well for a while. I prefer the cordless Xiaomi vacuum. Ee have kids so theres usually junk and toys laying around as obstacles.

Yes, close everything, but let the masses into the malls. That's much safer?
The bigger problem is many people from there work menial jobs including ones in the malls, food stalls, and others scattered out through Bangkok.

Its not only the poor crowded slumbs. The Thai mentality of family first, while nice in concept is going to be a problem with the spread of covid-19 or any other virus. Yesterday I walked into our community room and my wifes mothers sister was sprawled out on the couch coughing. I politely told her to visit when she wasn't sick. You would think that would be obvious. They didn't want to lose face or something.

Always asking for money. But rarely pay you back. Never lend a Thai money or tools.

I have many Thai friends who are now openly saying they are tired of this government and want things done differently.
Thais have been saying this for years. But who wants to go to Jail for trumped up charges?

Its horrible when someone starts smoking on the balcony next door. It drifts through air conditioner, door, and into your smokers room into the hallway.
If you your addicted to that filthy deadly habit do it outside of the building!
