  1. Consider those 450-550 baht a day jobs to 45,000-90,000 baht a month working as a service girl. It's a no brainer, plus those jobs that are vacant aren't appealing to many Thai's. Money talks.
  2. That's what I've heard.
  3. Check out the Crew add on for KODI. https://www.wirelesshack.org/how-to-install-the-crew-kodi-addon.html I used it to watch NBA games live. They've got practically every sport imaginable including pay-per-view boxing events free.
  4. Finally some good news about climate change!
  5. Disenfranchised millions of voters! That would result in some major upheavel or downright overthrow in many countries. In Thailand it's business as usual.... ..... So far.
  6. Unfortunately, this was predictable. I think they'll find something to have him removed (Pita) like they did with the Future Forward Party. This senate handpicked by the previous Junta. It's beyond mind numbing corruption. Disgusting really! Currencies should go up versus the baht with the political instability, that's the only silver lining.
  7. Most of the Senators and MP's are those exact people.
  8. And his right hand man, Thammanat Prompao, convicted drug smuggler and purveyer of used medical gloves.
  9. There's already plenty! Interesting zoo. Lots of deer and those capybaras. Thankfully you can rent a golf cart to get around. Plenty of snackshops and clean bathrooms. Nicest zoo in Thailand. Good for the kids, I actually don't care for zoo's.
  10. Definitely the girls do it to support there families/kids. 200 baht a day working in Issan won't buy anything and you'll end up in debt. That's even if there is work. You'd have to actually have experience living in Thailand to realize this. A few days holiday in Boyztown doesn't count though.
  11. Imagine China asking for help from Thailand in combatting Thai criminals in China. Unfortunately the Junta and the RTP haven't the ability alone or want to battle much of anything much less than crime.
  12. Nope, they've settled for a junta that has no comparison for corruption and ineptitude. 12 year sentence from the criminals who overthrew Thatskin and disenfranchised millions of democratic votes. The initial scheme was to protect the farmers from the scrupolus middlemen. Unfortunately, it went wrong with countless bad players, many in the current junta included. That's just my opinion.
  13. Co-signing for a car loan?
  14. What is it with you and masks? Give it a rest.
  15. Express worked on my laptop but never on my Samsung phone. My IP was always visible. Unless your doing something nefarious there's no reason to use a VPN in Thailand unless you need your geo location changed for a tv channel.
  16. That's next level paranoia. If NSA actually wanted to track/spy on you no VPN is going to prevent that.
  17. I never use a VPN to peruse the US Amazon page, never needed one. Perhaps because1 I've got a US address and Thai address attached to my account.
  18. Can you believe I used to teach English here, poor kids.
  19. Thailand can build it. Maintaining it is another storey.
  20. Only if she gets her licence. That would be my edict. Better than driving on some show-off boys bike with no rear view mirrors or muffler. Lots of police checks. With a licence, helmet, and traditional rational Thai girl driving she'll be fine.
  21. Now he can relax at a military mansion all expenses on the tax payer dime. Filthy crook.
