I don't think many travel insurers cover motorcycle or scooter rentals in Thailand. Whatever they do cover is still hard to get money back for. Sad nonetheless and hopefully she'll have enough donations to cover the surgery. -
Pitbull hell. Massive dog problem in Thailand. Pitbull or poodle, one bite and you'll be on a regiment of rabies treatment. No Thai bothers to vaccinate there hordes of scavenging dogs nor takes responsibility. They should start putting them on the menus again.

Of course you do. Dog lovers care only for themselves. Your a neighborhood pest. Too many dogs barking all night and biting the passing children. I know you're type. Hope you get deported sooner than later. Oaf.

Thanks, nice report. How are things getting along in the Laos side? I was just curious. I always enjoyed those trips getting out of Thailand and enjoying a dinner out there. It was pretty slow before Covid. MERRY XMAS!

Definitely not enough rest stops/bathrooms on that route. The one huge rest stop with bathrooms and food is usually so crowded that it's difficult to find parking with hundreds of cars.

I certainly miss the good prices and available pool loungers at the resorts. Slow season is going to be a reality check for many Thais.

We just put our 3 year old into the public school which is free. Kindergarten he starts private school, catholic school, for around 20,000 baht. Pretty good school, better than the public school for sure.

I hated that "get out my ocean" attitude while living in Hawaii. Luckily it much more pleasant going to a beach in Thailand without some "macho" surfer kooks ruining the day.
