  1. Thriving? Any polls I see published he's close to dead last and in single digits. "2.40% said Deputy PM and Public Health Minister Anutin Charnvirakul, leader of Bhumjaithai Party" https://www.nationthailand.com/thailand/politics/40020392 "Korn Chatikavanij, of the Chart Pattana Kla Party, and Anutin Charnvirakul, of the Bhumjaithai Party scored 3.10% and 2.05% respectively." https://www.thaipbsworld.com/poll-thailands-central-provinces-want-paetongtarn-shinawatra-as-next-pm/
  2. Good. Ancient cheese.
  3. Quatar. Hosts of the World Cup. They'll still end up losing money but getting lots of International exposure.
  4. Definitely. Here in Sakon Nakhon I've got the same setup, only with TRUE. Works great. However if we go to the village next door everything slows to 3G or around 4 GBS. My wife says Trues coverage in the Northeast is better than AIS.
  5. Might be cheaper to buy extra economy seats and use their baggage allowance. You should call the airline as they might offer discounts for purchasing extra baggage allowance ahead of time, sometimes a discount. 200lbs, hopefully you aren't taking the family buffalo.
  6. Mute argument, Thailand isn't importing the new vaccines and the ones available are expired or expiring soon. The only choices will be the ones produced by Thailand based on the initial virus and not peer reviewed. Whether you are against or for vaccines doesn't really matter. The government GPO calls the shots for public and private hospitals alike when it comes aquiring COVID-19 vaccines.
  7. Perhaps you can work out an arrangement with a family in the village that has a car/truck to basically be on call for a few months. Harvest season is coming to an end. Some might like a little extra cash. 5,000-10,000 maybe plus gas a month. Rent a car is another option of course. Monthly rentals are cheaper. Sorry to hear about the illness.
  8. Waiting for the prices to drop like they did with the COVID vaccines. Perhaps get a good deal on reruns of the games.
  9. Passing by I noticed they usually have the younger stunners there. Great for people watching!
  10. That's 7 more than my home airport Sakon Nakhon. Not all of us are so lucky to live near such a major air transport hub! Actually going to Khon kaen Saturday for a night. Great City!
  11. I don't know? Is it? If you don't like it write a note to the Republican Party. His aspiring to be a president has nothing to do with me. Now move along.
  12. You certainly are beating this to death. Are you a politician by any chance?
  13. What's rational and responsible to you isn't necessarily rational nor responsible to other people. I haven't as much faith in any politician as you imply that you have. Anyways with Trump involved it'll definitely garner more attention, good or bad.
  14. Yes. Politics are usually bland and boring.
  15. Definitely not a fan of him. But he'll definitely make things more interesting than the usual boring politically correct run up to the elections one usually gets.
  16. Plenty of rooms (discounted) to be had on many travel sites. Nice place for a few days though. Really laid back.
  17. Sounds like you couldn't get a gal for 200 baht more like it.
  18. Always staying in a dump. Cheap Charlie's travels.
  19. You don't know squat. All your reports of travel are places not even a dog would sleep. Report back when you actually stay in a nice hotel. Ugh!
  20. Your always staying in dumps. 300 baht is about your limit. Wherever you stay you couldn't enjoy it. Probably sheets covered in feces and squat toilets.
  21. I think you need a psychiatrist more than a booster.
