  1. I thought you mentioned "clean" also. Silly joke. Hua Hin is nice. We're actually going there for a family getaway. Not spectacular but plenty of nice beachfront hotels, good restaurants, and shopping. Enjoy your trip wherever you end up.
  2. Can't deviate your trip. You'll run out of juice. Until there's more electric stations I wouldn't bother. Also MG's are Chinese produced now so I wouldn't touch that brand. Stick with a hybrid or regular fuel unless you only want to drive one route. If you think it's your thing by all means get one. But I honestly wouldn't until things improve, especially with only a few chargers available in most provinces. Also the ones at Sakon Nakhon Robinsons we're out of service yesterday. Nightmare scenario for the odd Issan electric vehicle owner.
  3. Here's the ones that are actually open for charging within 300 kilometers of my home in Issan.
  4. In my opinion it beats the USA.
  5. ..... Hopefully they'll be enough electricity to run your air-conditioning at your overpriced resort.
  6. Are they unable to generate enough electricity? This is ridiculous.
  7. What an odd proposal. If you're closed how do you make money to pay the electric bill for the "slow" hours permitted The Junta's thinking is questionable at best.
  8. Two in my province of Sakon Nakhon, a mile apart. If you make it out this way make sure to bring an extension chord. Most of those "Charging Stations" are proposed stations. Perhaps a hybrid would be more suitable for myself. I definitely don't need to be stranded somewhere in Issan without a charge!
  9. His hotel brands, mostly, aren't cheap to begin with. If this happens I'll never stay at a Minor affiliated hotel again.
  10. Now I just need an overpriced electric car.
  11. 3 minutes! Every other country it only takes two minutes. Get it together!
  12. Break out the antivaxxers and conspiracy theorists. They just can't keep their traps shut.
  13. I've only seen two or three charging stations in our provide in Issan. They'll need more charging stations for sure and a map of where they are.
  14. "Public Health Ministry announcement cancelling the decree dated Oct 9, 2020 that had allowed the ministry to procure Covid-19 vaccines to protect the public interest, control the outbreak or maintain national security." https://www.thestar.com.my/aseanplus/aseanplus-news/2022/11/04/thailand-stops-procuring-covid-19-vaccine Hopefully it stays relatively mild and cases don't spike because there won't be many vaccines available in any case.
  15. I used TRUE pocket Router when I travel. Works up to 12 devices. Fits in your pocket. Or just use a phone as a hotspot. Lots of unlimited data plans available, especially on Lazada that are a good price. 11-11 Big day for deals if you can wait.
  16. Very popular. Our daughter got a wierd rash around her mouth after eating one. No more eyeballs for our family.
  17. The private hospitals are very good but don't go there for a liver transplant.
  18. Phnom Penh and other larger cities actually have descent private hospitals now. It's still not a destination for major operations but things regarding health care (at a price) have improved significantly.
  19. Cambodia is definitely is a fun and beautiful place. I regretted leaving after a weeks holiday. Phnom Penh, heaven for a single guy. Definitely worth a visit.
  20. Deflect from the actual horrendous crimes that are actually happening that affect Thai society.
  21. I doubt there using Teak wood to make transport containers. Be nice though. Nice looking planks in any case.
