  1. Irrelevant, they were working and their visas apparently did not allow that.
  2. No, you didn't get it straight, they risk deportation for invalidating their visas/extensions by working here.
  3. Yes, they could be if the Israelis are wanted under Russian arrest warrants.
  4. Even though they won't have valid visas now? How could they stay here?
  5. Why should anything happen to the Thai promoters (was there a promoter?), what offences did they commit?
  6. If the Israelis had committed offences and were wanted in Russia under Russian arrest warrants they could be sent there. There is no such thing as an "international" arrest warrant.
  7. Because they voluntarily voided their visas/extensions by working.
  8. Call the company that constructed the building.

  16. Are their services limited to below certain amounts? Nothing much easier than doing a SWIFT on, for example, BBL's phone app, I doubt that the other banks' are much different.
  17. There's a Bangkok Post article dated 25 October 2023 entitled "HSBC Thailand taps global connectivity", which talks about them growing their asset management business here to better serve their HNW clients. It sounds as though they may have asset management operation, specifically for HNY clients. I think their wealth/asset management services in Thailand are provided only to their corporate HNW customers, not to private HNW individuals... "HSBC is committed to its goal to be the best bank and a key driving force for the Thai economy and Thai society. Today, HSBC provides a comprehensive range of financial and banking services to corporate customers". https://www.about.hsbc.co.th/hsbc-in-thailand I'm happy to be corrected if you know specifically otherwise.
  18. "...what did I miss?". You missed the full article that confirmed the fuel that it didn't use.
  19. It wasn't gas fuelled, as stated in the link.
  20. ICE, not electric, "we" do know and they did say.
  21. LUMA is an insurance broker, not an insurance policy. Thailand - Luma Care Co., Ltd.: Non-life insurance broker licence in Thailand: ว00008/2555 Life insurance broker licence in Thailand: ช00012/2564
  22. I don't believe that HSBC Thailand offers any retail services to individuals, HNW or otherwise.
  23. Open a WISE account, pay from HSBC to WISE by free bank transfer. He is not transferring anything using HSBC, Standard Life, his pension provider is.
