  1. She is claiming that she was sexually assaulted, that's the problem.
  2. Mandarin Oriental Hotel, Peninsula Hotel, Hyatt Regency, Robin Hood, O'Sheas, Royal Oak, Scruffy Murphy's, etc.
  3. Not very likely since the Narai closed down at the beginning of this year and is being demolished.
  4. All the suggested methods of killing your pets are illegal, the shooters, suffocaters, gassers, drowners and poisoners may want to bear that in mind. CRUELTY PREVENTION AND WELFARE OF ANIMAL ACT, B.E. 2557 Section 3. ...“cruelty” means an act or a failure to act which causes an animal to suffer, physically or mentally, or causes an animal to suffer from pain, illness, infirm, or may cause death to such animal... Just a thought.
  5. No, it is not, charges against him are currently being finalised. And he didn't have sex with the 17-year old, allegedly.
  6. "99% chance this German man never asked her age...". Completely irrelevant to the charges. Not asking doesn't make it ok!
  7. Jesus... Only in the circumstances defined in the Act and that Section 9 (that you clearly do not understand) is very specific and only part of the Act!... "Section 9 Whoever procures, seduces, or takes away another person to commit the act of prostitution..." "Procures, seduces or takes away" being the operative words in that context.
  8. Oh let LL have his say he is nearly 80 poor old bugger .just thinking in another 5 years or so we will miss his enlightening posts ! Perhaps you could point out the inaccuracies in my comments on this subject, then, Professor?
  9. Correct. Many aspects of prostitution are illegal in Thailand (e.g. soliciting, running a brothel, underage) but the act of paying for sex itself is not illegal. Thank you...maybe they'll take your word for it!
  10. Thai law as defined by 'Liverpool Lou? ' Oh, I get it now. My mistake. Try reading the Act and then post a quote from it, in its full context, that states, without qualification, that "paying for sex" is an offence. I won't hold my breath.
  11. Obviously you have not read the 1996 suppression of prostitution act I have but obviously you have not understood it. Nowhere in that Act does it state "paying for sex" is illegal. The Act specifies under which circumstances commercial sex is an offence.
  12. No, it is not illegal to pay for sex in Thailand. Prostitution and the aspects of prostitution is defined in Thai law. Paying for sex, per se, is not illegal, there have to be specific circumstances for payment to be illegal.
  13. It's unreasonable to have people fly in and get denied at the border and get stuck at the airport. They need to know if they can enter beforehand. "They need to know if they can enter beforehand". Tough titty. No other countries operate that way so why do you expect that of Thailand?
  14. You're suggesting all this happenened coz he was on his phone? No, I just asked him a question. That could well have set things off, though, as the OP does appear to have a bit of an attitude and refuses to answer questions about the phone situation and funds.
