  1. No, I don't speculate, my opinion of what may, or may not, have happened would be pointless.
  2. I, and everyone else here, do not know what happened after the CCTV cut off, I never posted that I do know. I'm suggesting that no one here knows that their claims that they started that he didn't stop to help can be corroborated.
  3. What makes you think that the car driver "didn't bother to stop" when he got his vehicle out of the middle of the road? Is there anything to suggest the car driver did stop ?? Is there anything to suggest that he did not stop at the side of the road after moving his obstructing vehicle? No, there isn't.
  4. You're not mistaken...the posters who claim that he drove off without assisting are making it up, or have seen a different video, in which case, they'll probably post it as evidence.
  5. Apart from getting his obstructing car out of the middle of the road, where was it shown that he drove off and didn't stop?
  6. Which video did you watch that shows that he didn't stop at the side of the road?
  7. What makes you think that the car driver "didn't bother to stop" when he got his vehicle out of the middle of the road?
  8. How would "policing" have altered the outcome, or the instigation, of this accident?
  9. I think you will find that a Deputy Chief of Police said they were "too easy" and should be tightened up. Lou, the self styled authority on everything who gets everything wrong. So what has been "tightened up" that is "making retirement extensions more difficult", specifically since he said that (as you brought him into it)? And, what falls into the category of "always getting everything wrong" in relation to my posts...specifically?
  10. What is "intepol" [sic]? I didn't say that RTP cannot access their link with Interpol, I said that Interpol does not normally provide background checks on individuals and it, normally, does not. National police forces would normally provide that information from their own data.
  11. "What about a..." What about trying to derail the thread with off-topic irrelevance?
  12. You forgot to include Japan, the UK, US, Australia and all of Europe in your (biased and selective) list.
  13. Other reports specifically mention the arrests of two named Indians.
  14. How are they "making retirement extensions more difficult" than any time over the recent years?
  15. "Happy to note that..." On the other hand, you could just read the article properly.
  16. Yes you can but you can't offend people while doing it by saying others talk nonsense. I didn't "offend" anyone, I just stated a fact, the claim you made regarding over-taxed and banned oranges was nonsense. If you are offended by accuracy, that is up to you.
  17. That was convenient and lots of beneficiaries of largesse to not find him Vorayuth left Thailand before his arrest warrant was issued and served and the RTP cannot "find him" if he is not in Thailand...they are Thai police with Thai jurisdiction only, "largesse" notwithstanding.
  18. Did you not read the article? The Kiwi was in Thailand when he was arrested, Vorayuth is not in Thailand and the RTP's jurisdiction stops at the Thai borders.
  19. Hmmm... Stupid is what...er, never mind. Didn't you read the full OP where it was explained?
  20. in my province back home going 50kmh over the speed limit is an automatic license suspension and they do take your car on the road right there. the car is impounded until the court case is finished. "...the car is impounded until the court case is finished". Completely different from those "Confiscate the bike!" or "Crush the bike!" rants from AN posters demanding instant "justice" to which I was referring. They do not do that in "your province back home".
