  1. They haven't been offered B100,000 compensation, they've had an offer to cover their medical bills up to a maximum of B100,000.
  2. Maybe you've only stayed in apartments, not condos. Unbelievable that you've never heard of anyone paying MEA electricity rates in rented property.
  3. I don't need "a mate" in a condo to know that I pay MEA rates. I could prove that also.
  4. I didn't say "Never the case", you did, that was your comment that I quoted!... "Interesting. Maybe some others on here can tell us if this is the case for them. I've been here 20 odd years and stayed in several apartments. Never the case. Always above the basic price".
  5. "I've been here 20 odd years and stayed in several apartments. Never the case". As I said, I live in a condo, that could be why.
  6. Seems as though that "dog with a bone" can actually read, though, which is more than can be said for some.
  7. Garbage. Electricity rates per Kwh (units) were not tripled in May!
  8. Why not for condos? I'm in a condo and I get my electricity bill direct from MEA, just as the owner would.
  9. “The Royal Thai Police can send a notice to European police to apprehend Vorayuth using his biometrics to identify him, an order which can be made by the ruling government". Or, more accurately, "The Royal Thai Police can send a request to European police to apprehend Vorayuth using his biometrics to identify him, an order which can be considered or ignored by the ruling government".
  10. For the record, that is the post to which I have been responding, the post that so many members cannot read. From that post... "...I have never understood why Thailand doesn't import these". Neither Thailand, nor any other country, imports used cars. Individuals or companies may, subject to regulations.
  11. If you bothered to read retarius' comment properly, the comment to which I responded originally, you'd see that it is not me that is pedantically splitting hairs.
  12. There's a difference between pedanticism and accuracy. Accuracy in reading and comprehension is an attribute worth developing.
  13. Did that poster say, the Thailand government ? Yes, he said Thailand and Thailand is a country with a government. He made no reference to individuals.... "There are many fabulous, low milage, nearly new cars in Japan traded in for cents on the dollar. I have never understood why Thailand doesn't import these".
  14. Are you seriously saying that the Myanmar government imports used cars. Which Myanmar government agency has that responsibility, is there a Used Car Ministry?
  15. You have twisted the thread, its not about GOVERNMENTS importing cars it's about INDIVIDUALS importing cars. I have twisted nothing, it just seems that there are a lot of posters who cannot read accurately! Read my original comment on this subject which was a response to someone asking why Thailand (not individuals) doesn't import used cars from Japan.
  16. Malta and Cuba. The Cuban government does not import used cars! Neither does the Maltese government.
  17. The German auto industry depends on the export of used cars around the world . In my comment that you responded to I posted that no governments import used cars into their countries, your response was that Germany auto industry depends on the export of used cars. What's the connection? Are you trying to say that the German government exports used cars? If so which German governmental agency is responsible for exporting those cars?
  18. More loopy Lou rubbish. Go on, then, which governments import used cars from overseas?
  19. You can certainly import used cars into the UK. Try reading what I posted and the comment to which I responded properly. The poster asked why Thailand doesn't import used cars from Japan, I responded that no governments import used cars from overseas. The UK government does not import used cars. Individuals may, "the UK" does not.
  20. Might have got this wrong! Who may have got that wrong? If you're referring to me, please indicate which governments deal in used cars from overseas.
  21. Weapons of mass destruction, anyone? He wasn't executed after his trial (and conviction) for allegedly having weapons of mass destruction. He was tried for war crimes, crimes against humanity, and genocide.
  22. Please educate yourself... wait, nevermind! Saddam was executed after a trial, Gaddafi was killed, probably, by his own countrymen.
