Time that you stop posting over-generalised nonsense. Those who provide their passbooks to agents that then show the 800k being deposited are receiving the funds. Bangkok Bank is not the only bank that applicants can use and the use of an agent certainly is not bank fraud.
The visa/extension issued by an IO will be a legitimate visa/extension...unless, of course, you can indicate any case of an agent-assisted extension as is being discussed here being revoked as illegal in say, the last 30 years? Got one?
The money that is required by Immigration will be in his bank account, that, and the IO's permitted discretion, makes it "legit".
The OP will not be bribing anyone, he is paying an agent the agent's fee.
Did I say that?
Did I say that you did? I just asked you a question, did the question mark not give yo a clue?
By the way, the answer is "no", they do not.
No, it is not "another story", GLO lottery prizes are paid out without question regardless of whether the ticket holder is a Thai or a foreigner if the claimant claims it correctly at the proper place.
But there are limits per transaction to some banks which is what the OP was asking about.
How "much better" are Wise rates than the mainstream Thai banks for incoming transfers?
Edit: Just looked it up...not that much. Eg. for a £1,000 transfer, the difference seems to be not worth the fuss.
