  1. Those who read the article in full know that it was confirmed, there's no "does sound like" about it.
  2. 20 years using Thai Post, never a missing item, ever. 29 years and one issue of a lost item going to Canada that Canada Post lost for which I was compensated. TP is as good as any other country's postal service, if not better.
  3. That would make it assault and battery... yes... he assaulted the officer The officer was not struck with the skateboard!
  4. Yes it did happen ...... The gold shop called the police, ........they took her away Sorry, didn't realise that you were actually there and witnessed it. I wonder what she could have been charged with...trying to sell a necklace, whatever it's made of, sure isn't illegal.
  5. Well Lou you ARE always right. Thanks, much appreciated.
  6. Didn't happen. It's not a crime to try to sell a necklace that isn't gold.
  7. No, that is not something that is available.
  8. Think you will have to find that and let us know.........???? No, no, the ones who are claiming that it is the law are the ones on whom the onus is prove it. How could I prove the existence of a law that doesn't exist? Laws specify what are offences, not what are not offences. Ok, actually I can, sort of...no section of the entire Thai Criminal Code covers that specific offence but you'll have to read it to see.
  9. the mere act of swinging the skateboard at the officer was an 'attempted assault' because it displayed intent to injure. Under which section of the Thai Criminal Law or are you quoting another country's law?
  10. Already being discussed on a thread started some time ago.
  11. This guy and his flight routes prove flat earth codswallop No, that is not Save the Frogs claiming to be a flat-earther! Try again.
  12. You sure? Which section of the Thai Penal Code covers that?
  13. But the guy you’ve responded hasn’t mentioned that he might be in the UK, in fact he’s posting from Thailand. That has no relevance to the specific question that I answered, read his question and my response.
  14. Probably the most idiotic reply I've had here in years. Why? There wasn't any inaccuracy in it. If you see any, point it out, specifically.
  15. I was just trying to be helpful to the OP, what is your motivation? You were giving him false information, I gave him accurate information, that was my motivation. You see something wrong with that?
  16. I'm 10000% sure if i tried to stab or shoot someone and missed because im a knob, I ain't winning the nobel peace prize "...because im a knob...". Your words! No one was stabbed, no one was stabbing, no one was shot and no one was shooting.
  17. Nonsense. Where did you read that 70-year olds can now be conscripted?
  18. Why did you assume Rubles? He came with USD2,000, as the article clearly stated. He did not come to retire...VE does not require anything in the bank.
  19. The article clearly states that they come with two thousand dollars. How can you live on this money and give a commission to an agent? The article, clearly, does not state that. It does state, clearly, that he came with $2,000, not everyone... "He travelled to the airport in Moscow, with a couple of thousand dollars in savings..." The article also states how he gets income but, I guess, reading that part, also, takes too much effort?
  20. "Funny how they can buy...". They can't. Russians are not exempt from those requirements, either, as you suggested.
