  1. How very pedantic of you. Yep he didn't avoid the avoidable death. Odd how accuracy becomes pedanticism over complete inaccuracy here.
  2. Construction companies working on SRT facilities are not supposed to leave exposed construction obstacles or intrusions that could cause injury or fatality in situ. The only person who may have been affected by placing himself in an area in which there was a likelihood of severe personal injury was the Canadian doing something not only prohibited, but stupid. The construction outside the train posed no danger to any other passenger on that train, or that route!
  3. Should it be found that his smoking in an area in which it is banned (i.e. the entire train) contributed to his fall and death then one would expect compensation to be non-existent.
  4. This planet, not just Thailand, so many ways to die ,especially if not careful.
  5. "Good form" isn't really an AN members' trait.
  6. RIPs to total strangers, from total strangers, on a forum that his family is unlikely to know exists (never mind care about the thoughts of its usually vitriolic, anonymous members) are, by definition, pointless apart from for the self-aggrandising, back-patting, virtue signalling RIP-ers.
  7. Maybe it was the SUN: Maybe it was both: "by Bob Scott Picture courtesy of the Daily Mirror"
  8. The victim, nicknamed Ploy, fairly obviously.
  9. No, she did not "literally get away with murder", she literally got away with manslaughter with diminished responsibility.
  10. You think that her admitting the offence because she had the painters in has got her off the charge?
  11. I'd put money on it that she does, if it is a requirement.
  12. "...apologize or be deported..." She is not in any danger of being deported for what she did, where did you get that from?
  13. The public really does not have that entitlement, it is none of the public's business.
  14. "He"? Which incident are you going on about?
  15. There's no need to capitalize the first 2 letters in Parkinsons. "...in Parkinsons". Your editing ability, for which you were patting yourself on the back so enthusiastically, missed that there is a need for an apostrophe in Parkinson's.
  16. Liverpool Lou replied to eezergood's topic in Phuket
Smarter money says that they're waiting for the outcome of the criminal case against him.
  17. I'd guess that he was tested when he was taken to hospital for treatment!
  18. Probably because the family didn't immediately sell their story to the Daily Mirror.
  19. For what reason, he's not wanted by Cambodia authorities, is he? RTP don't have jurisdiction outside Thailand.
  20. Yes, but it is spelled differently!
  21. Can’t name names here Ralf, defamation and all that. you know that, right…. RIGHT ? More cobblers...it's not defamatory to name a restaurant that you patronised and was asked to leave.
  22. A bit like your stories you went to jail in Thailand and you were a navy seal. I never claimed to have been Navy Seal.
