  1. A Thai bank in which the staff speak Thai...what a shambles. No don't think so. A foreigner, presumably living in Thailand as he needs a local bank account (and chooses TTB?), who cannot make himself understood in the nation's language...that is a shambles.
  2. I'm pretty sure that whisky and beer are two very different things. Problem's as big as ever.
  3. Good for you, don't know how you could distinguish foreign customers from foreign male staff without speculating, though. Re religion, I did not instigate that, address that part of your comment to the poster who did.
  4. They wouldn't be "refugees", they'd be visitors with expired documentation.
  5. MOSCOW, Sept 29 (Reuters) - Russia's central bank said on Thursday ... that Russian nationals ... would still be able to transfer up to $1 million to their foreign accounts a month and no more than $10,000 via money transfer systems. https://www.reuters.com/markets/europe/russias-cenbank-extends-restrictions-money-transfers-abroad-until-march-31-2022-09-29/
  6. What does that question mean? Do you mean how long have you left before you can be extradited? Extradition depends on the co-operation of the two countries and it can be done with or without a ratified extradition treaty, (excluding the US). Don't assume that because there's no treaty that you couldn't be extradited.
  7. Must have been quite a strong chap... You know how small in volume B170k is? It's not even two bundles of B1000s. You know how small safes can be?
  8. Which Thai prison have you been in to come up with those incorrect assumptions?
  9. You really think that the contents of small safes, worked on in the thief's own time, could not be accessed without a key?
  10. Why? B170,000 doesn't need a big safe, the smallest available would be more than big enough.
  11. You think that detailing pickpocketing instructions would be a good thing? No one needs to know the specifics of skilled theft, they just need to know to keep an eye (and a hand) on their own valuables and be suspicious of being crowded.
  12. Asean Now seems to be a very odd place to post a pleading video addressed to Thais...in English!
  13. I don’t owe you any information, your education in the matter is your own responsibility. I didn't suggest that you do!
  14. I didn’t say they have, I said they will; try reading posts properly before jumping at people. You're correct, I misread, I apologise. Having said that, "The Republicans" will not be banning abortion, books or drag artists, try quoting facts properly before jumping at the keyboard.
  15. "From" prices to Pattaya, Silom and Sukhumvit are quoted on their homepage (to Silom from B1400 for a Camry) and specific prices are quoted if a call is made to the call centre with the journey's details.
  16. Did you also know that: "under federal law, an individual who possesses an Enhanced Handgun Carry Permit issued by the State of Tennessee would be permitted to possess a firearm in a school zone located in Tennessee. Additionally, under the Gun-Free School Zones Act, a person without a license issued by the state in which the school zone is located who is not otherwise prohibited from possessing a firearm may possess a firearm in a school zone so long as the firearm is unloaded and either locked in a container or locked in a firearm rack inside a vehicle, similar to the Tennessee State law exception." https://www.uslawshield.com/tennessee-gun-law/ Yes, I did, I can read just as well as you can and that law does not relate to the circumstances of this school incident. Did your quoting that have any point relevant to my comments?
  17. Don't flatter yourself that you could ever provide all the information that I need!
  18. It’s a short step from a public area into a school. Well done. I know that.
  19. Republicans have not "banned abortions", neither have they "banned books", nor "banned drag artists".
  20. Licencing of guns wasn't my argument. Are you saying that firearms are permitted, legally, in Tennessee's schools? They're not.
