  1. Apart from here, where has there been any suggestion that he "was murdered and that a murderer is getting away with it"?
  2. ...because they are very rare bearing in mind how many people have visited over the years, that's why.
  3. "He did not die of being 47yrs old". And some people would call that "absolute BS" as you have no idea how he did, or didn't, die.
  4. Which authority has determined that there was "something wrong with his heart" and where hsa it been reported that a postmortem will not be performed?
  5. What is Thailand doing in connection with this death that "is not the way to encourage visitors"?
  6. The Embassy will be involved, obviously, as a UK citizen has died here. The Embassy doesn't do investigations, though.
  7. "So this doesn’t ring true as ‘just died in his sleep, no autopsy needed’". No one (apart from some posters misquoting the OP) has said that!
  8. Not on Koh Tao it's not. Really? Which unexpected, unexplained Koh Tao deaths did not have postmortems performed? Specifically.
  9. Bet you can't quote that law! Thai law does not make postmortems mandatory, it is up to those investigating the death. Or by request.
  10. Perhaps he passed it also but was not quite as "fit and healthy" as everyone is speculating the day before he died.
  11. "- no exceptions" This unfortunate dive instructor was told to strip to his underwear, lie on the sofa and die?
  12. The word "average" is important; to get an average age of 69, there must be many a lot younger (30s, 40s and 50s) and many a lot older.
  13. Fit healthy 48 year olds, really? Yes, they're just assumed to be healthy until they die, and many do, then the cause is found and the "fit and healthy" guess (because they hadn't died until then) is found to be untrue. It has to be borne in mind that, although not the norm, death at a young age from natural causes happens. And this man was not young, he was almost 50.
  14. More than likely prohibited from releasing personal information for data protection reasons.
  15. People are getting blocked from using their accounts. Santander in the UK seem to be the worst. Once they block the account, it devilish difficult to get it unblocked if you are not in England. My Barclays account was blocked a few years back. No, they are not...here. This thread, that you started, was about KTB's, and other Thai banks' online banking services. None of those customers are being blocked which is what I posted about. UK banks' blocking of accounts there, for reasons unconnected in any way with Thai online banking. is irrelevant to my comment.
  16. BS, all of us are not children that do what they care told. BS. No one is expecting you to act like a child. You're getting a service from a private company, you can go elsewhere if you don't like their rules that provide a number of options. I'm sure that in your home your rules apply?
  17. No one's "getting blocked", everyone can use the branch, ATM or phone. That you just don't want to is your problem and it's eaily solved.
