  1. Just because the police lied doesn't mean that she didn't also! And she did, that was what was making her accusation a bit dodgy until the RTP clarified what really happened.
  2. Hello...they would, it's a question on the form that the sender has to complete. You don't think that courier companies will just accept anything, do you?
  3. Probably not, because she didn't pay anything, her Singaporean friend claims that he did (or his Thai girlfriend did)! Just another lie from the actress... "a Singaporean national called "Mr Sky" who was a companion of Charlene An on the night in question and paid 27,000 baht"
  4. I've got my facts extremely right, you said outright she was drunk and being difficult, you didn't reference anyone else in your comment. This was sometime back and I can't be bothered scrolling back to find it, however if I come across it, I'll post it for you. Yes, I did post that...I also posted, when asked, where the information came from. Get your facts right.
  5. B7,500 is a reasonable amount, B10,000 would be even more reasonable for your child's sake. If caring for your child means that his mother is unable to work, don't you have some responsibility to provide for her also? That you think that "most people here make 15k per month" is irrelevant, what has that got to do with your ability to support your son and his mother? What percentage of your Danish income would DKK2,000 (B10k) be...single figures, I'd guess, if you make an average salary there?
  6. Who would tell them it's cash, ah.....hello. Ah...hello... 1. They ask what the contents are. 2. Then they'd ask why it is so heavy and rattling around like a tin of coins.
  7. Couriers won't deliver cash, not that it matters now!
  8. I have never told any poster that their opinion is wrong. If you can quote one opinion that I have said needs evidence for it to have any standing then quote it here. I have suggested that many posters who make inaccurate assertions without evidence or facts are making unfair assertions. Assertions are not the same as opinions. The way that I respond to posts is up to me, that you interpret it as "policing" is just your opinion but not all of us want to post several paragraphs of mostly irrelevance to try to make a point and even fewer of us want to read those lengthy posts. If I disagree with a post I have the right on this forum to say so, regardless of what you think. I also have the right to not have the same opinion as every other sheep on this forum.
  9. "Its very impolite". Don't worry about it, it was not as impolite as the caller with his unsolicited offer was to you! My response to the only English-speaking real person who called me and mentioned "investment" was, "f_uck right off". Oddly satisfying.
  10. No, it's not, it's from not showering enough or not using anti-perspirant/deodorant. Body odour is the result of bacteria working on the sweat that the body produces to cool itself, fresh sweat doesn't stink, regardless of what you've eaten.
  11. Is this the infamous "guilty until proven innocent"? Did I ever say that she was guilty? No, I did not. What I posted was accurate, she produced no evidence whatsoever backing her story, still has not (and no need to now) but she did lie which cast doubt on her version; remember that lie that she had spoken to Interpol about her complaint! That the RTP have now admitted wrongdoing has been favourable to her and I'm happy that the guilty parties have been identified.
  12. Trying to be fair, that sounds about right - after accusing her of being a drunk etc, I didn't accuse her of being drunk, her Grab driver and the police did, I just commented on that. Get your facts right.
  13. Yes. Obviously. Don't know what that's got to do with my question, though.
  14. The karaoke shooting at the Montien hotel springs to mind; nobody ever faced the music on that one; then there was the disco shooting on Ratchada/Sutthisarn ......... arguably a long time back but never cleared either .......... Irrespective of that - one case alone is one case too many - from where I come from; we don't need top ten statistics 8-) No one asked you for top ten stats but I'm sure that, even where you come from, back up for your assertions wouldn't be unexpected and in this case you asserted wrongly that "all those rich kids are murdering policemen. The Montien shooting was 29 years ago (!) in 1994 and was committed by a customer's bodyguard, no "rich kid" was involved, neither was a police officer killed. Can't see any reference anywhere to your 2nd historical example.
  15. Read about it in the Bangkok Post today. The police have now publicly admitted that they did shakedown the Taiwanese lady, that the police helmet cam recordings were erased and that the Huai Khwang police chief was sent to an inactive post. You may not accept that, or believe that, but it was from the MPB police themselves. Yes, I know. That was made public just a few hours ago and, of course, I accept it on face value. All I was asking for was fair consideration being given to both sides at a time (pre that announcement) when neither party had produced any evidence.
  16. Not much, but it's more the principle that counts here. I hope the principle outweighs the stress of worrying about "not much". Bear in mind that many refund systems, for whatever reason, can just take a lot longer to appear in your bank account than most of us assume it should take.
  17. The only thing that is official is the maximum that you're allowed to bring in. It isn't a "maximum but you can bring in more if you pay tax", it's the maximum. Unless you get a very understanding CO, in a good mood, when you declare the excess, you'll lose it, that's the way Customs' works...officially. The chances of your walking out through the Green channel without being accosted is very high (unless you appear unusually guilty).
  18. His problem would be when he is stopped, if he is. At that point, or if he declared the items, he'd lose any over the limit. If there were exceptions to the maximums allowed by paying tax that would be common knowledge.
  19. There’s nothing suspicious about that at all. The Thai Police could very easily have contacted their counterparts at Thai Interpol to communicate with Interpol in Taiwan to obtain a statement from this lady - nothing abnormal here at all. There sure is. It's irrelevant now, I know, but there's no way that she could have had meaningful dialogue about the events with Interpol as Interpol does not deal with the public, she would have been instructed to report this incident to the police first. She claimed that she had spoken to Interpol about it, not that the police had spoken to Interpol about it.
