    Just renewed my big bike licence, just laughable I mean a footbrake test for a motorbike when 85% of the braking is done with the front brake lever,guess they call it a reaction test, anyway the whole things pathetic but reminds me .....what happened to the alleged "big bike" test they were rambling on about a few years ago cuz it aint materialised.

    having spent 10 minutes renewing my big boy bike licence today Id say driving in general is a licence to kill...the tests are hilarious/useless rolled into one.

    The way it works round here (prachuap) is if the falang wants to burn his crop he cant, if the locals want to burn theirs they can and are even told to do it after 6pm as no one will be there to check

    I think as long as you receive no benefits from the country (ie unemployment, health care etc) there is no need to assimilate, as long as you follow their laws ie you are not a financial burden to them in any way.

    dont ride a bicycle ....check dont cross the road even on a crossing....check (especially if an eye doctor and involving a Police motorcycle) dont drive on the roads under concrete road construction bridges (route 9)....check dont be a Policeman in BKK on a motorbike when you see a Ferrari....check dont...............fill in anything you like in Thailand...check
