English commentary and in HD. Great value, half the price of True.

Once they get the screen menu and Dykes and company sorted out will be even better.

Great to have rhe EPL back, it's been a long close season. Picture and sound all very good.

I wonder how bothered they really are about getting Dykes and co......I hope they do, as promised.

They know that people who want to watch the EPL will subscribe anyway, it's not as if everyone is going to jack it in and not watch the EPL if Dykes doesn't appear and of course many have paid well in advance.

I remember True doing a similar thing with going to a game late when they first got the rights. I've contacted a friend at the Nation who is also annoyed by CTH situation and will push for info on stadium 7 PLTV channel.

Well I suppose they got the main things right no cock ups with the main transmissions. Dodgy english audio for Liverpool game, fine for all others. No interviews with players or managers is poor IMO. Even on the Thai station with TRUE they did a Premier live round up of all the goals after 9pm game. Nothing from CTH! It can only get better I suppose, early days isn't it.

Managers pre and post match interviews would be good! They cut from Manyoo warm up, David Moyes about to be interviewed, then Thai presenters returned!!! Why can't we hear Arsene Wenger? Had a word with my friends at the nation to push for an exact date on stadium 7 PLTV channel launch. Like I said they messaged me to say late September, but TIT, these things can be forgotten and pushed back. Bit of media pressure might speed things up hopefully! I suspect the delay may be because of satellite transponder space and maybe making sure they get the most important things right first; the live games.

True had a similar problem if I remember rightly.

Channel 131, Stadium 1, is actually showing a game. Chelsea v Sunderland from a couple of years ago, WITH ENGLISH COMMENTARY. Calm down everyone.

So i wouldn't be telling everyone to calm down just yet.

Just make sure you all have CTH tel numbers to hand wherever you are. Bombard them with complaints if they forget to flip the audio switch in the engineering studio. The technology is proven, and they understand the issues, but if the guy responsible for the switch (or whatever) doesn't give a <deleted>, or more likely not been briefed or trained properly, it could be quiet in the opening game...

What about stadium channel 6,which at present is only showing the test card still.

Is this for the split screen function ?

Do you know if CTH will be showing the Premier League TV shows with John Dyke and his experts.. I really enjoyed those programme's when they were on True. I have been looking on CTH stadium channels but all they are showing at the moment is the reviews from last season.

To avoid mass panic change audio at k.o. If you do before you will probably get silence. This was the case for EPL ASIA trophy. English defo working as was available for Asia basketball competition too. John dykes and co should be available from end of September on new stadium 7 channel, which launches then.

CTH customer service is an absolute joke, even by Thai standards. 1000 times worse than True.

Same content as true. Preview and review shows, fanzone phone in, pre match, HT and FT analysis with John dykes and co. end of September I'm told stadium 7 will start. Basically sounds like PLTV 24hr channel.

Just got up, quick check on my box shows all the channels (or at least the main ones I watch) working and still in the same place. Keeps your eyes peeled for stadium 7. This will be thePLTV channel. Scheduled to open end of September.

All sorted now!

Mine been down since late last night, still not back on this morning! No DSL connection. Anyone else got the same problem?

Could not get an English commentary on Channel 7 for the England v Scotland game on CTH. Surely to God they should be getting that right by now (or maybe I'm missing something technologically - nothing there when I use the Audio button and toggle to an apparent provision of English Language).

But, I'm a smarty-pants and kept True for a while - no problem with Channel 7's English commentary there

Got CTH already. I finally got around to phoning RS Sunbox about renewing my account for La Liga channel, as my free subscription runs out. You have to pay the whole season in advance, but can't do it till 17th Aug, which is the start of the Spanish season. So, on Saturday, everyone who watches La Liga will be phoning at the same time to re-subscribe. How many hours will I be put on hold waiting? What a dumb system. And these are the people who have the rights to Brazil 2014. I wonder if there will be the usual "satellite TV cannot broadcast the competition on free to air channels" problem that we have every time with the Euros and World Cup?, then everyone scrambling to get a Sunbox fitted. I suppose that can wait till next year.

Noticed that links to other websites from twitter are being redirected to mcit.go.th some go through if you go into the tweet and click on the link, instead of clicking on the link from your tweet feed. Anyone else noticed this?
