I have had the same with channel 4 but i dont watch it much. Channel 2 is sometimes a tenth a second out but i have had it for a few weeks now and i am 99% happy!

email them about it please mooner. They were denying any issue with it until I badgered them about it.

3MB minimum speed, so you should be fine. Would like to here how others are getting on and if still having issue with channel 4 please email them.

Still skipping on sport 4 channel. It is an improvement on before, but as I've pestered them enough will see how it goes over the weekend before I notify them of it.

Don't you have to buy a specific hard drive from them? I thought an independent one isn't compatible. Also don't you have to set the box to record the programme you want to watch? Or does it automatically back up the content from every channel for a few days? Isn't there also a monthly subscription for this on demand/record service with true too? It did cross my mind to go this route if 365sport fail to deliver. But I suspect a far more expensive route.

Big improvement on sport 4 channel since lunch. Jumped around a little bit at start of Aussie rugby, but a damn site more stable than it was. If any of you have any issues you should email them. I had a hell of a time all week trying to convince them it was a problem at their end and not me before they properly investigated it and found what was causing it. The excuse being they saw nothing wrong and I was the only one complaining. To be fair though service is pretty good. On demand means I don't have to get up at 2 am then back to bed for 2hrs before work for UCL. Shame TRUE and CTH don't offer such a service. T.I.T

Bangkok Blue, just saw your post and checked. It does seem that Sport 4 not as seamless as the others. Even with "one minute" buffering the others streaming okay but Sport 4 very jumpy even with buffering at "15 minutes". Will email them and point this out.

I received an email at lunch saying it had been fixed. All on demand stuff been jumpy all week. I checked after email live stream and it seemed fine again. Appreciate if its off if you'd drop them a line. Took 3 emails with them denying any problems before I threatend to cxl. Hey presto problem found!

Is anyone having issues with 365sport? I'm having massive issues with sport 4 channel! Live and on demand, it keeps fast forwarding/ skipping, yet all the other channels are working fine, as is uktv Asia! The same skipping occurs in the same fashion and at the same point on demand, as it does on 'live' mode and only on sport 4. Which makes me believe it can't be my connection, or my computer.

I'd be interested to hear if anyone else has experienced these same issues. I've emailed support at 365, but they deny that there are any issues, because I'm the only on experiencing them!

Just occurred to me that the issues I've been having have only been happening on sport 4 channel. Gives more weight to my theory that it must be a problem at their end.

Fox is 365 sport 1 channel. On the note of 365, has anyone noticed skipping/fast forwarding issues over the last couple of days? Thought it might have been my connection. The picture has never frozen, just gone into fast forward and skipping. What makes me think its a problem at their end is football today at 6:45 - 7am 'live' had the same skipping at the same point when I watched the whole programme on demand this evening, looks like a codecs issue, which would require them to update their player. Maybe I'm expecting too much from them. Thankfully the manyoo vs Liverpool game had no issues whatsoever. Will be good when they implement full HD.

I'm only guessing but I think their could be an issue with the link up signal. This would explain the flickering problem during live games. Will post here if I hear anymore.

Hi BB, there is a lot of talk about PLTV can you please tell me what exactly this and what are the benefits to we the viewers? My assumption is that PLTV stands for the premier league channel, so does that mean that we will get that channel on CTH?

Yes, the same one that TRUE provided with John Dykes and pundits such as curbishley, Peter Reid etc.... Supposed to start October 15th. Broadcast quality permitting.

Astro pundits are far from the best, but I think fox have their own build up show too. They've got McMahon and Paul Parker. Either of them are better than the Thai 'manakin' on CTH! But PLTV is by far superior.

Flickering problem seems to happen for everyone. CTH are aware of it and aim to have it fixed within a month.

Does anyone know if the channel lineup is the same as the Ku band version? Did CTH duplicate everything on two satellites and is one of them scheduled to go away in the near future?

you get less channels and stadium channels aren't in HD I think. But don't quote me on that. Maybe stadium 1&2 in HD only. Check the website or call them.

Yep! Same jittery picture here... Only occasionally, but noticeable. Was fine for Norwich vs villa game and only did it a couple of times for Liverpool game yesterday. More noticeable now though. Phoned CTH about it, they are aware if the problem and working to fix it.

I had my CTH installed mid july through the local dealer. I've obviouslt paid the initial 1800 baht deposit for the dish and 550 install cost but i'm still to receive an invoice for the initial 1800 baht monthly rental!

Just out of interest, how long have others waited before the invoice has arrived?

I doubt you'll get disconnected. My bill came over 2 mths after installation. I noticed I'm allowed 2k credit with them, so looks like you can miss a month if you're away on holiday for example. They're call centre has improved and they have far more english speaking ops now.

Yea. Astro switch it around as they have their own analysis shows too. I've watched fanzone before, which has made reference to that day's programme which wasn't on. We'll get it by 15th October I reckon. Bonus of 364 is the in demand function. Great for La Liga, Bundesliga and especially UCL.

we'll get there eventually Pat. I've noticed the signal this week for live games and sky news had stopped flickering. Maybe they want to get that link up stable before moving onto other projects. Defo gonna happen, as presenters at CTH have informed my friend at The Nation that its on its way. I think the bidding for UCL starts end of this year, despite the current deal still having another season to run after this one. Prob find out early next year who has HD rights for World Cup too. Thank god for 365sport. Just watched re-run of the arsenal game before work and they should have brazil 2014 in english and HD.

Thanks! I spoke to an operator who spoke excellent english. She fully understood the problem. Many have been complaining about it. She advised that the signal is not stable yet and they are working on it. Should all be ok in about a month. Could explain the delay in PLTV. TV companies must have to have some serious equipment in order to receive the live link up signal. As CTH are effectively 40 year old satellite Virgins, I suppose this makes some sense, even if it is inconvenient for everyone. So fear not Pat, it's not just me and you in this boat. On another note, loving 365 sports coverage of La Liga! Woke up and watched Barca's and Real's games over breakfast this morning.

I'm not buying that reasoning after the signal simply because it was fine for the first 3 rounds of games, so why would it go to pot now? Makes no sense

I'd sooner not watch any sport, than have to put up with Thai commentary or punditry. It's horrific, lack of knowledge and general look of a chicken staring head on into the lights of an on coming truck. At least that's what the 'manakin' who stands in between the two younger presenters on CTH reminds me of!
