If one, or multiple cops want to shake you down, your passport will be the least of your worries. Make sure you have a bogus Thai lawyer # in your phone contacts.????????

This is Thailand. I must admit I have become a part of Thailand. I gave up refusing to be a part of no seatbelt, no children running free in the car etc years ago. To try and fight a countries ways are noble but foolhardy. Consequently, just cover your and your loved one's arses to the best of your ability when driving????????

Totally agreed. These, or similar "events" have been happening in Thailand since whenever. The only thing that has changed is how they are reported. You are so correct. People will (now) comment on social media & then sleep and go to work in the morning. Sure, some will take to the streets as they always have. Apathy, or probably despair, is the only vibe I am picking up so far. The Thai population deserves so much better.????????
