Koh Samui: Immigration nab Hungarian widow on 4,165 day overstay
PMEL replied to webfact's topic in Koh Samui News
I think it is pretty obvious that the money her cash cow (dead husband) provided the money grabbers dried up thus giving them the opportunity to show what a great job they are doing identifying this highly dangerous person. This may not be a 100% true scenario; but, I would bet a lot of money it's damn close. -
You do realize that 3/4; or, more of the stuff sold on Lazada now ships from China. If you are going to order anything from China go with the local "vendor". All those problems/costs will be included in the price. Lazada may have been sourcing from China for a long time; but, I just noticed it in the past six months; or, so.

So, you obviously left out some information ie. having an anaphylaxis reaction is generally due to an allergic reaction. My guess is you are allergic to an antibiotic such as penicillin. Just an FYI, they do ask about allergies while they are putting your information into their computer system. After asking the nurse consults with a doctor before proceeding.

This is the phone number of the nurse/lady that came to notify me 0944540683 in Sisaket. I live in Ban Lao (Phia Nam) just past the PTT station on the way out of town going to Uttamphon. I am not sure what her affiliation is; but, I think having your wife call her directly may be your best bet.

I signed up on Expatvac; and, about 3 months ago the same people came around to sign up everyone in the housing area. They had a round of vaccination (Sinopham) about 2 weeks ago; but, when I went there I was told sorry not your turn. Truthfully, I have no idea if the notification is linked to Expatvac; however, there was another guy from Sisaket who said he was also notified the same day (notification was the same way). In both cases they said Phizer would be used.

No email. As a matter of fact I am not even sure the notification was associated with expatvac. I sort of made that leap/association; because, when I asked which vaccine they said Phizer. The only other place we signed up was with the local tambun probably 3+ months ago; and, they just started vaccinating locals with Sinopham 2 weeks ago (I pretty much got the sorry farong from them at that time). Having said all this, there was a story today that they were sending vaccine out to the provinces. I had already confirmed that would happen this week (posted previously) via a phone call to the Public Health Department.

Yes, well over 60

Yes, well over 60.

This is a follow-up to my previous post regarding Phizer vaccine being sent to the provinces (I live in Sisaket). We just got a visit from the tambun nurses wanting a picture of my passport. They said I would be notified (called) to get the Phizer vaccine next week with expected vaccination date to be 24th-25th. Hopefully everyone else waiting will be notified soon as well.

I was finally able to reach someone (02 590 3832) who had what seemed to be credible information about Expatvac relative to getting it out to the provinces. Supposedly notifications will be mailed to the provincial health authorities this week. Keyword there is mailed; so, expect a few days delay. From that point everyone will be at the mercy of their provincial authorities to be queued up. Best case scenario appointment notifications go out the end of this week. I would think more realistically next week at the earliest. Remember the title of this post ends in "unofficial". I am sure there are a lot of people out there like me, just wanting some news even if it is unofficial.

In the U.S. a good divorce lawyer making a claim that she didn't know what she was signing will make all those documents not worth the paper they are written on. If you don't believe that you're living in a fantasy world.

I'm with you there WtSteve. According to Thailandintervac.com (hospital list showing vaccination sites) unless you live in/around Bangkok not likely anyone has been notified. There is one exception to that. Bangkok Hospital in Khon Kaen has been added to their list of hospitals; so, I am assuming expats in that area have gotten notifications. Other large cities in Issan nothing yet. The "priority" they placed on over 60's is a crock of B.S.; because, other than teachers the vast majority of expats living in the non-noticed provinces are older people trying to live the quiet life. I personally am over 70; and, have more than one of the other issues that should have put me near the top of the notification list. I shouldn't make this political; but, this situation does shed some light on the beef the red shirts have with the government.

Well, after the supposed first day of appointment notifications a couple of things are apparent (really not a surprise either). 1. Being over 60 does not mean you go to the front of the line. 2. Bangkok; and, the surrounding area(s) IS the priority regardless of age, health conditions; or, pregnancy of expats in other provinces. It wouldn't be that big an issue if they hadn't decided it was a good idea to allow all the factory workers to make a mad dash out of Bangkok then started sending bus loads of Covid positive cases back to the provinces.

I believe that the Astra vaccine is a month or more between shots whereas most if not all of the others are 2 weeks.

Has anyone from Issan gotten an appointment notification?

Obviously someone told him about the "email" message that was sent out to everyone post video. There is an assumption being made that every expat in Thailand knows what SMS/Twitter means; especially, those over 70. If we weren't in Thailand I'd be asking why would you change methods of communication? Then if you were going to change why wouldn't you communicate that to everyone who you sent that "Registration Success" email to (via email)? It's a pretty big assumption that everyone who registered watches videos of Thai political speeches.
