I has just been appointed as CEO of a research company in the US. The post was well paid, but as boring as hell. Still, I kept me in gainful employment until the time to move to Asia, so it served its purpose. I have no wish to return to those days, there was no 'food for the soul' in the highly cut throat world in which that company operated.

I have only eaten one meal a day for the best part of 30 years as it suits my life style . It only works as a diet if you eat the right things, the fact that its only once a day is largely irreverent as OMAD doesnt work just because its only one meal.

I Know you say stay clear of the private hospitals, but I have had excellent and relatively; inexpensive treatment for Wet AMD and the symptoms of pre glaucoma from the consultant at BHP. I would never compromise my sight by worrying about the cost.

I think that you may have slightly missed my point. If it was up to me, I would want to leave both Phuket and HH as quickly as possible, not get to either place. Any form of transport that achieves that objective is good.

A rather premature report. Its far too early since decriminalization to come to any conclusions on mental health impacts in LOS. I'm sure that there will be some, as it's an insidious drug and it can clearly be harmful for frequent users, but give it a good while before drawing any firm conclusions. There are plenty of Worldwide studies that can be used as base data.

I'm sorry, but I am one of those. I am the 'grey man' here, I hope I am unnoticed, unheard, unseen, uncritical in the face of Thai authority, unquestioning and uncomplaining in their sight. This is totally against my normal character and It took me 3 years of living here to understand how it works here and to adopt that persona and it serves me very well. I recommend it to others, especially to those who lose their cool in Immigration, DLT or the Land Office. There seems to be a lot of those people around.
