Hi just had a very similar experience did an online report last September no problem, but got a new 90 day report when i did my yearly extension in October I got an email reminder in December even though my report date was now January and was told to ignore it and apply online in January tried last week but it was rejected almost immediately phoned immigration (would have gone in person but its 150 km away) the officer told my Mrs to copy my 90 day report, visa extension, passport photo page and TM 30 and send it via EMS to the IO. I got the new TM 47 this morning so it all worked out in the end. I'm not sure if i will be able to use the online report site again ? ill give it a try in April but it doesn't look like the online system recognises anything that happens in person at the IO

Supporters of corruption and those using it will always be sensitive to the truth. If people followed the law they would not get themselves into awkward predicaments.
seeing as you haven't got a clue about the facts of the case can I refer the "honourable" gentleman to the statement I made some 16 hours ago (neck, wind etc.)

No it's not, unless you condone illegal corruption by getting an extension from a province you do not live in via said agent
Cheers for the helpful advice please feel free to rearrange the following 4 words into a well known phrase, In Neck Wind Your ????

Oh dear.
You must have done a change of address TM30 in order to obtain extension at another office.
Have you actually changed (address) location?
Can I PM you ?

Are you using the new online system.

Edit: I notice you received reminder so yes you are using new system .
Yes using the new system, I'm wondering if there may be a problem as I renewed my extension at a different immigration office to the one where i live ?

Hi all as I posted in November "I did my first online 90 day report in mid September meaning my next report would be due mid December, when i renewed my yearly extension in mid October immigration gave me a new 90 day report slip with my next report due in mid Jan 2023, i was advised to ignore the reminder i got from immigration online in December because i had the paper copy stapled into my passport, I have just applied for my 90 day report online and it has been rejected within 6 hours with the message "Please contact the nearest Immigration Office in person immediately" anybody had a similar experience ? It only comes as an injection (everywhere)
The primary indication for this drug is for diabetes management in patients for whom front line drugs are not sufficient. It has recently been approved in the US for management of obesity (BMI>30) under physician supervision, AFAIK not approved for that indication yet in Thailand.
It is available under brand names Ozempic and Rybelsus but not over the counter. You would have to get it fro ma doctor at a hospital or clinic. One specializing in management of obesity would be more likely to give it than others.
Note that it does have some potentially serious adverse effects in some people, including pancreatitis, kidney problems etc. So there is good reason to limit its use to those under a physician's care.
I have actually sourced it from a local Pharmacist a couple of times in the not too distant past but it was rather pricey at 9k for a 4 dose pen and i had been prescribed it by my Dr in the UK

Phuket immigration always does that for me. They don't ask, they don't tell, but they regularly staple in a new 90-Day Report into my passport when I get my retirement extension. ???? I like it, but it's not done at the majority of other immigration offices apparently. Maybe it's because they keep passports overnight as part of the retirement extension process. Apply one day, pick up at 1 PM the next day. I've no complaints.
(Not sure if you do) but does it affect you if you use the online reporting system ? or will i probably be ok to use it again in January TIA

Go by the date on your 90-Day Report receipt/Next appointment notice that is stapled into your passport. Ignore the date on the email from immigration as it has been overcome by events, the event being that one was done for you at your yearly extension. The email notification system is very crude and only takes account of reports done using the online system, not reports that are done in person, nor reports that weren't done because one left Thailand before being here for 90 consecutive days.
Brilliant thanks for the swift reply (is it usual for immigration to give you a new 90 day report notification when you renew your extension ?)

No the report will be due 90 days from your reentry.
That report may need to be done in person or via mail as it will be your first report.
Do not think it can be done online.
UJ will advise.
A slightly different question on a similar theme, I did my first online 90 day report in mid September meaning my next report would be mid December, when i renewed my yearly extension in mid October immigration gave me a new 90 day report slip with my next report due in Jan 2023, I have just received an email from noreply@eservices .immigration.go.th saying my 90 day report is now due (mid december) just wondering what the best course of action would be TIA for any pointers

Does she have a female friend of similar standing?

Just the question i was about to ask, so it goes to the immigration office that deals with the address you provide on the application ? i submitted mine 2 days ago and it is saying status pending
Just a quick update on my application for info, I applied Monday AM approved Thursday PM as has been said minimal info was requested, Name, PP number, address (It wouldn't let me submit the form with the road/lane box left empty so i just put unknown Rd and it worked ok) entry to Thailand date and permission to stay date, no mention of TM 6 or visa details so all in all a pretty painless process many thanks for the info provided and good luck with your online application ????????

I'm pretty sure it has to be received, checked and replied to by the Immigration office you deal with.
In my case Pathum Thani.
So it's up to someone there to process it (ie. Not done by a robot computer ).
But as mentioned, when it gets close to deadline, I shoot them off a polite email enquiring about its progress.
Usually get the Approved email in a couple of hours.
PT office is only a 15 minute drive (in normal traffic) but that office and the roads can be crowded and busy.
No thanks, I'll stick with Online, but as DrJack has suggested, do it immediately after receiving the reminder email.
Hope your approval has come through ?

If possible renew in the UK, use both Passports for return then transfer stamps when back in Thailand, I don't know this for certain but it would make everything easier if possible
1 hour ago, brewsterbudgen said:How long will you be in the UK? With all the current delays in renewing passports, I'd be worried about not getting the new (and old) passport back in time for my trip home! Renewing in Thailand is relatively easy if you live near Bangkok or Chiang Mai, or are happy with making the trips to submit application and collect the new passport, or don't mind paying an agent to do this for you. You also don't submit the old passport with the application (just a copy) if you renew in Thailand.
Either way, you'll have to make a trip to Immigration to transfer Extension stamps into the new passport
Thanks for the info ????
