That is not the case at all. You can stay anywhere and access the beach via various sois.
I know they have some decent beaches. Otherwise I have found a lot that are very short and limited with a fence stopping the water. However, I haven´t looked at all so maybe I missed a lot too.

I guess you have not been to many islands. A lot of them have rubbish collecting on the beaches when it is not busy. Most of the beaches are not that good anyway and food is usually disappointing.
No of course I have not been to many islands. Just talking a lot of BS, and totally missed that during my 25 years in this country. Are you for real? Also complaining about the food. Might you just be one of the many foreigners in Thailand that can´t be without their food menu from home?

Yeah, Hua Hin is also a good choice. However, you must chose a hotel with a private beach and be confined to that for clean living.

Islands are usually the busiest in high season and beaches loaded with rubbish in low season as nobody wants to clean them. Also far more expensive and food is normally not good.
I guess you just had bad experiences.

Business class was double the 2 seats
$2000 Australian & $4200 business on Qantas
Oh, dear! Was it the money you complained about, or did you want more comfort? It actually sounded like you wanted a better comfort, otherwise, why complain? You know, like you did, you just get the same 5h1t times 2

Well said but you would need a brave consultant to dare treading on a lot of toes.
True, but eventually it will change. Maybe not during our time, but it will come. 🙂

Please attend these workshops if you can to learn respect
Nope! That will never happen. Respect is one thing, and of course you should respect people with no concern about their heritage, religion nor culture. However, respect is also something that needs to be eared and cared for. As you mention in examples, there you have people that do not respect others. They, then automatically, do not deserve your respect.

Try some islands. That is usually always the cleanest and most quiet choice.

Dude, you don't add anything to the conversation on here, you just pull out the usual tired cliched tropes every time, usually with some whining about something.
Ok, but does that really concern you? If you don´t like it, move on. You know, this is an open forum, and different people voice their opinions here.

He will probably change to Win 10 or buy a new computer.

I use the old computer every day, works just fine, my son has a good laptop set up with a microphone which he uses to chat with international friends half the night, we never get to see him. A new PC would be 'nice to have' and my missus has her eyes on his laptop, it just isn't necessary.
Ok, if it isn´t necessary, it just ain´t. You are happy with your computer, and you think that your sons computer is right. Then you are the guy, you are the boss, you are the father. 🙂

That would certainly be the definition of an idiot. 🙂 But, on the other hand, we have a few over here.

Yeah that begs a question. Either you have no use of a computer or you just can´t afford it, right? Not saying it´s right they demand a computer for 35k, but your comment sounds strange as you can not assume that a young boy would be happy with an old computer.

Some of the best bike riders are killed not because they can't handle a bike but because other drivers who are incompetent, which runs rampant here., hit them from the back or sides.
Ok, all that you wrote in your reply, is basically what I already posted as it can be many reasons. However, the above, I think you have to expand and explain a bit. That basically means that most riders killed in traffic, has been hit or pushed from the side or from the back. I was under the belief that most died of frontal collision and single accidents, as you know speeding and electric poles are a favorite. 😉

Let´s start talk about Thailands biggest criminal organizations. First we have the BiB, closely followed by the GiO (Guys in Orange).........on third place we have Gov and the 1 % ers.

Yeah, and he though he was invisible with those Aussie-Yakuza style tattoos. Good point! He really looked like a regular foreigner.

The Prime Minister’s endorsement of England adds a personal touch to the international event, giving Thai football fans an intriguing choice of team to follow.
And, made England shake in their boots. Now they will surely loose, and we all know whos fault it is this time.

Another great and representative guy for the force. How many nuts do have? Maybe time to hire help and consultants from outside to clean up the force, as they apparently no have any possibility or will to do it themselves. Sometimes you wonder why there is a government and people in charge to handle such things. They only shrug it off with some idiotic comment or prolong be stating there is need for further investigation or they just don´t want to do anything as that would disturb the flow of money.

Completely agree...
There are lots of different types of riders, and while riding here in Thailand clearly carries an elevated risk compared to driving a car or riding a motorcycle in our home countries, we can remove ourselves from the elevated layers of the risk profile by riding within certain boundaries.. (not riding at night, not speeding, not drunk, wearing kit, riding defensively all the time etc) - thats not to suggest this guy wasn't following common sense rules... the story could be a complete fabrication, the deceased can't defend themselves... or he could have been riding recklessly, no one knows...
... but I think most of us know by now that witness statements are one of the most unreliable forms of evidence.
RIP to the Brit....
Exactly, regarding the witnesses in this case, they are very unreliable as there is none so far that can dispute the stories. That´s the most worrisome thing regarding this accident. The guy could have made everything right, but was forced out in the wrong lane or the pickup driver could suddenly have been over in his lane. Again, something we probably never will get to hear more about.

It seems you may have flunked science. Cause of death means the specific medical cause of the death such as blunt trauma to the head or body, fractured skull, collapsed lungs, fractures, multiple contusions, internal bleeding, heart failure, external bleeding, etc. See if you can remember that next time you feel like denigrating and disrespecting the dead. Oh and like your mama said it's never too late to go back to school and take a science and physiology class. Unfortunately they don't teach respect, either you learned it by age 21 or you didn't.
Ops! Ops! Ops! You totally missed the point. I was not denigrating and disrespecting the dead. I was disrespecting the the Thai police. Seems to me like you know the victim, and that is of course bad and might be why you are reacting in such a way you do. I am also very glad to know that we have a forensic expert on the forum, and that you are not afraid to stand up and say what you want. However, calling me uneducated, is like putting an elevator in the toilet, but on the other hand that might be exactly what you are in to. And posting such a comment as you do, and at the same time talk about respect is hilarious. By the way did you know my mama? Do I have to take a DNA test? Getting scared here.
Also looks like 12 out of 14 understood that my post was meant to be a sarcastic joke about the police. That simply means you are in minority. -

Hope you will have a great time with your friend. Take a beer for me too, as I can not today. 🙂
Police Hold Meeting with Bar Guards Following Viral Brawl Involving Foreign Tourists

That´s a good way to start. Good initiative from the police. However, something they should have done long time ago. Better late than ever. Just to hope they will do more checkups and deal with this in the long run, which is also something that seems hard with many things. I also think they will have to come up with harsher punishment and a better education for the guards. Same as they need with the driver license.
