  1. No nothing in what Richard posted was about lying. He just asked for a statement from both sides.
  2. When you take part of my comment out of context, it looks like you want it to look to be able to change what I really posted. Now go back and read it all, and you will understand that I saw it same negative on both sides. Or you might not, but most people would.
  3. Soi 6 has nothing to do with this thread and this piece of news, so that´s just a silly remark. Not funny at all. Regarding description of perps. hat is something we don´t need, and the police do not have to give. I am sure they will se that if looking at the CCTV.
  4. Yeah, that video is showing the Thai driver just not looking and driving far to close to the car pulling out very very slow, leaving much room and time for adjusting instead of just continue straight. The Thai driver was probably more interested in something else instead of the road. On the other hand, I actually also get annoyed at all that are trying to pull out in front of me and people that are turning crossing the street as they always have to pull little bit and little bit more until they finally can close a lane and come over that way instead of just stand still and wait until the road is clear.
  5. Yeah, but we know that already. They don´t need to hear, as he is automatically at fault for having the wrong nationality. 😉
  6. It´s highly probable that it was Thais and an Indian man involved. Where do you get Brits from? And also the question marks. What do they mean?
  7. Like a small error growing. Sorry, but I had to give you a laughing one on that comment 😉
  8. Yeah, I got it wrong first, but your solution sounds like a workable one. As well as mine do, with reporting the issue. However, that might be too much in this case. They should be a little bit more open to looking and solving the problem, though.
  9. It would be an option, but in that case I guess they will have to change the law. Today it´s a warning sign with no attachment to the law. Just a recommendation. What I was thinking, was that a lifeguard should have so much common sense so they actually try to stop or hinder a person. They are there to help. Not to pick up dead bodies from water. 🙂
  10. Ok, that´s horrible, so you have no chance of getting to an office and give then a printout of the payment in your bank. I know, you should not need thta, but it might help you. This is even more horrible! I would report them, even if it´s just 300 baht we are talking about. It´s the value of the service and also the way of blocking you as well as giving no service to solve the problem.
  11. Pay what? Was not the food you ordered and paid for delivered to you? If they deliver the food, it´s paid for, otherwise it´s not possible to order. The system will not send the order to the restaurant if not paid. Unless you opt for pay at delivery, but then the delivery guy will either not give you the foo or beat you up if you not pay.
  12. It´s good that we see more arrests and work from the police on this matter. Starting to be very popular to impersonate authority figures to be successful in criminal activities. However, these guys will bite the dust for a while.
  13. It´s just terrible, that people can´t go see a football match without violence. However, not anything exclusive to Thailand, as the whole world has it´s fair share. Just very idiotic. Also, they believe it´s patriotic team spirit to behave like this. They should fell ashamed. On the side, how can it be allowed to drive a car without an insurance? That is also baffling! However, I assume the guy have insurance for other people and cars, but not full that includes his own car as well. That´s stupid. Especially as it is his livelihood, as he expressed.
  14. 100 % right. No, will not attack on anything because, my post you replied to, of course went too far in a civil society. Unfortunately, this is as far for civil we can come. And this is not really the families fault. Of course it would be nice if people all by themselves could have some common sense and critical thinking. However, that is not the fact. The worst things are that the authorities nor the education system has any knowledge nor tools to deal with severe problems of this kind. They just don´t know how to do.
  15. No nothing much have changed. Still a lot of rouge offices that do like they what. Besides that, they usually, my own experience and word from some friends, not so hard on the 24h rule. Have made it myself 2 days after and smiles al around. However, depends on the office, officer and the mood of the day. Same like getting married in Thailand 😉
  16. There is no words for this! There is also no help for a mother like this. Best solution would be shot on the spot.
  17. That´s great! Why not stop him from entering, as is was red flags there? As they kept a "vigilant eye" on the situation, it looks like they just let him go on. Besides that, not see or ignore red flags? Yeah, I can only say red flags are there for a reason. Apostolov choosed to ignore that, which slightly changed his name. Now he is a apostle for others trying to be same stupid.
  18. So, that means you understood the meaning, but just felt the need to correct? Take a
  19. Yeah, probably same as other truck drivers. They honk the horn and flash their light, but never look or break. They believe signals make them the king of the road and everyone jump away.
  20. Ok, Nice! Does the big child think the measures can be put in place at all other places that might create the same problem in the future, or is taking precautions a big taboo here?
  21. Ok, seems to me that we are talking about an old Allosaurus, then.
  22. How convenient again, just 1-2 days before he should turn up in court. Wonder why, as he already gone out with that he had no worries at all regarding this case.
  23. Even as it is a very positive thing, I have a hard time deciding if a fact like this is positive or negative. Is being first with something that is 20-30 years old in other parts of the world positive, or is it just a duty for the countries in the Asian block? From my side, it´s seen as a duty!
