As there is no chance of knowing why, as @Tod Daniels posted, one can only speculate. However, it will be a very good speculation, founded in the deep roots of cultural Thailand. Even if it looks like that woman in a Thai relationship is handling the finances, it is not a fact. The fact is, that the Thai man is seen as the breadwinner, bringing home the dough. The reason why the women seems so dominant in the relationship and economy part, is that the culture sees her as the stronger sex, with the ability to give birth and please. Therefore a Thai man will often obey so both parts get what they want. It sounds blunt, but very close to reality and cultural tradition. Therefore, one can assume the Thai government and authorities look at the Thai man as the strong in the relation and household as the economic contributor. Something, that means it will be the label enforced on the male foreigner. The result is that a female foreigner is seen to be able to live on the Thai mans economy, and the Thai woman on the foreign mans economy. However, how they will solve foreign woman and Thai woman will be a mystery, as they according to this calculation would be able to live on nothing. Regarding foreign male and Thai male, would according to this be forced to show 1,6M. 😂😂😂

The first thing is, if you are only interested in gaining custody rights as a father, and the mother is still in the picture? or, if you are trying to get the child away from the mother to live 100% with you. If the first one, then it´s an easy process. No lawyer needed and only the mothers signature as well as a couple of witnesses if I do not remember wrong. And of course a bunch of documents in all forms 😉 For the second one, it will be exactly same complicated as @fredwiggy posted above, and if you still wish to try you will need the link in the first post above. Although, not enough if the mother does not agree. In that case you will also need a lawyer. However, in this country, very hard and often dismissed.

Really? It´s a simple computer problem. It has for example happened in my wife´s shop, when she took over the renting. The bill was full of those asterisks for the first 3 month. Every time she reported, and same answer. They will fix it. However, when contacting PEA, they could verify the wrong, and give the right amount to pay. How would it be if this monk just did the same and talked to the authority concerned instead of thinking it´s 15 minutes of fame in the news for something that already happened to others. Better to check all the stuff happening in the temples and all the monks who break the law instead. They have far enough to clean up in that line of work.

So, true. Those many years ago Pattaya was actually a pretty nice place to be. The violence has escalated enormous. Robberies and theft happen at those times as well, but most robbers were not even ready to use violence. They could try and rob a person at knife point, but not many times escalating to using it. Today, they hit first rob later, and refusal is directly connected to stabbing, shooting and death. It´s actually a very sad story. This man is desperately trying to create a new hype around him, as the cannabis one has been buried in the sand awaiting the sting of the scorpion. There is one thing he is missing here, though. That is the ability to educated, and the ability to learn things that people actually remember and can implement in real life work. Sadly, he will realize, as so many with the same idea before him, that they will only be able to compete with one single thing. That is the prices, as the country never have any intention to pay a decent salary for the people working. There fore the quality of produced services and products will remain at a sub-standard level. The result will be a half-fail, half-won project that gives the customers, buyer or clients the possibility to chose between half-baked sub-standard products and services at a lower price, or high quality products and services from other countries and producers for a higher price. And, also putting in the news again, that they will educated 280 000 persons to be specially skilled workers. Last time I think that number was close to half million. What was the result of that?

Ok, so that´s what it takes to be the village headman today? He says they are an ethnic group preserving the forest, while he in reality do not understand the effects of what they are doing and supporting. To call himself an ethnic protector of the forest, maybe this man should get the education needed for such a title and position. The forest has not died yet, as it will stand and remain longer time than human health. That was a great punch! They are really annoying and never no how to stop nor behave. Walking around in gangs and beating up general people for whatever small reason. Engaging in theft and just believe they are the supreme gift to all men. I see it as totally deserved. It was just another one that could not take repeated no´s and let people walk away. Not that I have anything positive to say about this guy. He will unfortunately never stand trial for anything. The most bad thing here is that he was released on bail. Something that was already 100% sure before he entered the room. However, I do not consider it to be an act of a coward to use the back entrance to avoid the press and media. That is something many know persons do, as there is to high focus and pressure on them. What should have been done, is to deny the possibility for him to use the rear entrance.

First questions: Why do you see it as me being intolerant of you having a different opinion than me? Have I started any problem over that? Have I showed my "intolerance", in reality opinion, in any different way than you have been showing yours. Does that make you as intolerant to my opinion as I am to yours? Answer: No, we both have different opinions, and to not agree. That has nothing to do with intolerance. Also never said that I do not respect your decision. Second question: Why do you feel the need to bring in my wife time after time in this discussion? Do I go as far as making it personal with you? Answer: NO I don´t, as that falls below the dignity you shall show a person you have a discussion with. Having said that, there is actually no problem if you would grab my wife in case she would behave same bad like the man we are talking about in this piece of news. That would be if I was not there, as I in that case already would have handled the situation. Yet again, at the end of your post above you are referring again to my intolerance to those who have a different view, in realty you. As you can see, we are posting messages back and forth, which simply mean you can not tolerate my opinion either. I would not go as far as not tolerate, and so does not look good on you as you at the same time post you respect my decision. But, on the other hand, that was maybe only in regard to looking forward to grabbing my wife as a childish comment coming from you. I suggest that you grow up, and start having conversations without bringing your desire for another persons wife into it. That only shows the mindset of a hormone filled teenager that can´t control his urges.

Why would they set any limits on what the money can be used for? They will give the money to people in need, then they will just have to believe they are used for creating a better life for a month or two. Because that´s what it is. A portion of money that will last for 1 or 2 month. Then back to the normal life without money for most people. Totally useless scheme!
