INTEL CORE I5-13500 2.5 GHz (SOCKET LGA 1700): What is the BEST/Low Cost Mainboard to match this CPU?
Anyway, I will install a "ram disk" in the PCI-e slot. And, according to what I read...about 8 years ago, as I dimly recall... The integrated graphics on the Intel CPU can take advantage of some of this RAM... Right or wrong.... Time will tell. Probably...then...the answer is... NO...(or yes)....or... IDK....

INTEL CORE I5-13500 2.5 GHz (SOCKET LGA 1700): What is the BEST/Low Cost Mainboard to match this CPU?
Yes. Thank you. However...I am mostly concerned with getting enough resolution sufficient for simple text and images on each display, enough for reading, and no need for high resolution video. Concerning the mainboard for the desktop... I will choose an ASUS, maybe. Which one...not yet sure. I will have 16GB of moderately fast RAM... And, then... Good to go.

State of the Forum and its Direction
Concerning the earlier stated observation on this thread that many authors on TV do not properly cite their sources: Perhaps it might be helpful to formulate better guidelines which can easily be adapted for use on TV using existing guidelines acceptable at MIT. My guess is that the main reason that some authors on TV do not cite their sources is just due to the lack of specificity that now exists in present guidelines on AseanNow. Here, for example, are some very specific guidelines for citation which MIT uses, according to various fields of study. MIT authors are provided with very clear instructions how to properly cite sources, differentiated by field of research. Each field of research uses a different acceptable style sheet. Humanities uses the MLA Style Sheet. And, of course, the Chicago Manual of Style is used often in many fields, by many schools. Therefore, it would be helpful, if those here are concerned with proper citing of sources, if TV authors were provided with a clearer example of what is proper citation, and what is not proper citation style. As well, I think that some TV authors, particularly me, should be given a bit more latitude when being judged based on the style of my citations. Of course, I do my best to include a link to the sources I include in my Topics. However, sometimes I am so busy writing the following Topic that I forget to properly cite sources in the previous Topic. And then, by the time I realize my error, the time-limit for editing and revisions has expired, and so I am left with the realization that I failed to properly cite my sources...which...is most frustrating. Some TV authors, I imagine, even if provided proper guidelines, will still balk at properly citing their sources, just due to laziness, presumably. For these authors, then there should be a system of rewards and enticements which will encourage them to fall in line with acceptable citation practices. Finally, one must admit that TV is actually NOT an academic journal. And therefore, most likely, the standards of academic writing on AseanNow will not always be quite the same as most mods might expect when working with authors at Cambridge or Oxford. Therefore, be kind, and recognize that TV will never quite reach the level of an MIT....

State of the Forum and its Direction
I have TWO mods in mind that I enjoy....very much. Still, I cannot say IF they, in turn, enjoy me very much....Perhaps, they do not. Being openly abusive is something that should not be tolerated. This does not mean that THOUGHTFUL INSULTS are not most welcome, at least in my view, and in my case. As long as the insults directed at me are insightful, thoughtful, and amusing to me, then I am all for them, and please keep them coming. On the other hand, there are, on rare occasions, comments made which are just downright mean, for the sake of being mean, and have no redeeming value to them. These comments/commenters... I can do without. I do not ignore commenters, except...for... One or two, or, these days...three....or four... Hope I do not need to add more..and... I am sure that I will not....because... There are only a VERY few rotten apples in this barrel... I think.

IF Not Thailand: Then Pago Pago?
Before deciding to move to a new place, such as Chiang Mai, I first take a good look at the airport. If I like the airport, then this is a major plus, in my book. Am I considering moving to Pago Pago next week? No... But, is Pago Pago, AS...on my short list for a Plan B? Yes.... So... I like the looks of the Pago Pago Airport. Each to their own preferences...but...as for me.... I like the looks of Pago Pago. What do you think? Too much congestion for you? I think not! Even watching these UTUBE videos of the Pago Pago airport...one can just feel the soft pacific air bathe over one...and it is good. Definitely...Pago Pago is on my short list for a Plan B. But, I hope I never need to enact Plan B... Just as we hope The POTUS never needs to use his Nuclear Football.. I LIKE this airport. Plan B for Pago Pago is .... Still ON! (Who knows.... I may be in Pago Pago even before you know it!) Pago Pago is growing on me....

Everything that's wrong with EVs ... an endless list
I appreciate your input/reply. Personally, I intend to NEVER drive a vehicle, ever again, just because I do not enjoy the stress. And, I asked the question simply because an acquaintance of mine is seriously considering buying an MG..EV... And, I had heard that MG is now owned by China. So....There have, reportedly, been some problems with China-produced EVs...such as battery-range. Or, maybe the MG EVs in Thailand have good battery/range performance...I do not know.

INTEL CORE I5-13500 2.5 GHz (SOCKET LGA 1700): What is the BEST/Low Cost Mainboard to match this CPU?
One of my main concerns when choosing a CPU for a new computer is that the GPU will run 4 displays: So, good enough for my needs. I need 4 DIISPLAYS connected at all times. This is crucial for my choice of an acceptable CPU... Looks like this CPU is rather a winner in many respects.

INTEL CORE I5-13500 2.5 GHz (SOCKET LGA 1700): What is the BEST/Low Cost Mainboard to match this CPU?
Yes. I agree, and I often view computer costs in this perspective that you suggest. BY THE WAY...I have used this site, or the original site that became this site, since about the year 2008, as I recall.... https://www.cpubenchmark.net/cpu_value_available.html This site, in the past, has always provided me with the best up-to-date info on CPU speed vs price.... I really like this format, and anytime I needed a new CPU, I would always visit this site and make comparisons, before buying. I will use this site to help me in my choice this time. And so...I will just buy the i5 here: Cheap..but...good enough... And, I will use it until the day I die.... Maybe...

Do YOU follow norms of proper behavior while in Thailand?
Normative Behavior is my watchword! Normative Behavior is what I am known for, while I am in Thailand. For the purposes of this Topic: I always follow norms of proper behavior. In fact, I do not even think twice about adhering to what I, and probably you, too, regard as normative behavior. This is now just my own personal SOP…for life here in Thailand. I have learned that following accepted norms affords me a much happier life. Otherwise, I might end up like our fine friend, the Marquis de Sade, which would be way far off the deep end, for both you and me, I imagine. What about you? Do you live a normal happy life in Thailand? Or, do you act otherwise thinking that the excitement of living beyond the pale might give you a final rush before your end days on earth find you dried up, and unable to even get it up? In my view, one must make the conscious choice to live in either one of two ways: Live an upstanding life of contribution to others and to society (Plan A) Become a complete sybarite seeking nothing but self-pleasure, self-pleasuring, and total waste! (Plan B) I have chosen Plan A. I have found that there is no other way to be truly happy and content in this weird world, one in which the narcissism in us all drives us to act in ways that are not in our best interests. Always follow your conscience, and you will never regret the time you have spent on earth, living in this way. I should know…. But I bet there are some of you who might disagree with my thinking on this Topic concerning either a life of giving to others, as the absolute Key to the Kingdom of Life as a Self-Actualized Human Being, during our Final Finale, right up until the moment of one’s final breath of God’s clean air on this planet....or.... A life in the moral gutter. I would like to go on here, to share a few more important philosophical thoughts. But, I will not. Because, I want to approach this series of Topics, one by one, and not all at once. Regards, Gamma Note: So, in conclusion of this Topic: Do you adhere to and follow Normative Behavior in Thailand? Or, do you often step out of bounds in the pursuit of pleasure? And, do you wake up the next morning…feeling….embarrassed, foolish, and guilty, too? Note2: It's always best to do the right thing, no matter how boring. Let this be today's best advice that I have imparted unto you guys...this evening... Note3: If you have overstepped, or have gone too far...then...please do believe me.... It's NEVER too late to REPENT!

Miicrowave Oven Repair in CM...Cheaper Options?
Does anyone here have any idea/opinion concerning the best microwave available in Thailand/CM...under Bt.3000? Some here have told me to chuck my Panasonic machine. The capacitor has already burned out twice. And, as has been stated, repair here in CM might not be the safest option. Therefore, I have taken to heart the views expressed in this thread. And, I am prepared to splurge on a new third microwave oven. It's only a question of WHICH.... Here are two that I found on the internet, but I doubt I can buy these two in Thailand. Ovens are cheap in Thailand...some might say...and in more ways than one. So...what oven might be best? What would you buy? Such a small expenditure, I almost hate to bother anyone here about this.... But, still, I thought I would ask, anyway.... Tks! NOTE: I need a machine with a magnetron that delivers at least 1000 watts of microwave energy to the food....

Ribbons In Their Hair!
Which one? a. Wife ONE.... Still misses me, and the great in-and-out b. Wife TWO... I don't know, actually. She is somewhere in California...maybe...(Still crazy as ever. She was the HK girl who was SUPER HOT!) c. GF of 20 Years....We still keep in touch. But, not so often. She was the nicest of them all. (Mirror Mirror, Witch Was the Nicest of them ALL?) They all loved me. And, I bet they still do. But, I have since graduated from wishing to be in a relationship. I just hope they can get over me, the loss of me, etc.... I somehow doubt it, though....
