    Convicted felons can't serve in the Senate. They are barred from MANY positions, public and private. Why isn't this same standard applied to the US presidency?

    More than once my posts were pulled for referring to 45 as a felon. No longer, he is now a convicted felon. Yes he can appeal, but right here and now, he is a convicted felon.

    Try telling that to MY immigration office. They follow their own rules and I am required to jump through unneccessary hoops each and every extension.

    As I stated earlier, each immigration office is a fiefdom unto themselves. Even though the TM-30 regulations have changed, my immigration office damned near requires a new TM-30 every time I sneeze.

    NOT nonsense! Immigration doesn't care how many days you spend in Thailand - if you are filing for an annual extension, they will probably be instructed to require the retiree to file a tax return for approval. Add to that how every immigration office follows their own interpretation of the rules and you have a recipe for the perfect cluster kcuf.

    With the number of outlandish attacks for seemingly minor issues on the rise, I imagine these numbers are conservative.

    The same reason BLM protestors have had to push the issue. No one has to defend their heterosexuality, there is no need for a "straight pride" parade. Until it is absolutely no longer an issue and folks like us find these discussions moot, I applaud their efforts to make everyone aware.

    Sexuality is not a choice. It's like being left-handed. You either are or you aren't. I have two friends, a gay couple, and one of them looked me square in the eye one day and asked, "Do you think we chose to be gay?"
