Fully agree. Normally all airlines state that safety is their number one priority, which makes sense. Having this guy in an enclosed space for 11 hours, not knowing what he was going to do next must have made all the cabin crew nervous. As this was a long haul flight the aircraft would have had a full loads of fuel, which would have needed dumping before returning to Bangkok, which would be very expensive, but they , Thai Airlines, could have given the Brit the bill!

The captain should have returned the aircraft to Bangkok and the guy would have been arrested there.

If people make it thru to immigration control that are on overstay and have enough money to pay the fine and a ticket out of Thailand, they 'should' be OK to leave?

But how do the cops find out which people are on overstay, surely they don't just stop random folks and check their passports? Do the check in staff have a hand in this?

Yes, you are correct. normally 500 baht per day, overstay , up to a maximum of 20,000 baht? However it seems strange things happen at 'Phuket Airport' for some reason?

He may have mental health issues and needs to be evaluated by a shrink? Whatever happens he has a very large fine and potential compensation to pay?

Unless this guy Wong is mentally impaired someway, he need to be punished to the fullest extent of the law! Having said that: "Section 17: taking control of an aircraft by using force or threatening to harm the aircraft. The penalty will be death punishment, life imprisonment, or imprisonment from 10 to 20 years." I think the death penalty is taking it a bit too far?🙄

I can understand asking for the boarding pass for the flight into Thailand, I have been asked before when entering, but previous boarding passes, doesn't make any sense. Most people, including Myself do not keep a bunch pf boarding passes with them, once you have entered the respective country you discard it!

You are correct it is NOT a pyramid scheme and the products do what they say and are good quality!
