  1. Incels love him. Normal people hate him.
  2. I'm bringing over next year's money........ Dec 4......people would be well advised to wait till Dec 5 to change their money.
  3. No idea...I was talking about the wine??????
  4. I would guess so, but a seven hour drive from BKK or Pattaya might put them of delivering.......555
  5. Yellowtail,Penfold's et al are not priced much above Mont-Clair and taste much better. Isn't Mont-Clair a fruit wine?
  6. Just had a food delivery from Lazada.........mature Cheddar, Stilton, Branston beans, Lurpak butter, Baxter's and Heinz soups, soda bread. Tad expensive, but worth it if I want UK food.
  7. Ha....she's the one with the money......I'm the free loader
  8. Being delivered in about 40 minutes.
  9. I think there's element of that.....but it is true that US and UK politics will be come of little interest if Harris wins.
  10. I am actually....but not over the polls............the wife has just told me she's bought a dining table for 86k....
  11. We live equidistant from four temples. You get used to the morning prayers, the odd bell tolling away, can be quite pleasant.....the village heads droning on are much more annoying. The worst part is Temple events (once/twice a week?)......the loudspeakers must be illegal. I would guess easily over 100 dB stood near to them...and they are obsessed with the big, deep bass notes......they are used, I am told, to advertise something is going on. I would make every effort to live as far away from a temple, particular ones that accommodate markets, as possible.
  12. Got to admit.....as I have little or no skin in the game.....I'm rather hoping Trump wins now. UK politics is boring, apart from the two swivelled loons fighting it out to see who leads the Tories to total obscurity. If Harris wins it will be boring......however, if Trump wins it will be fireworks all the way....quite exciting.
  13. Why do you think I believed any of it? And which bit? The attorney saying what he said, if Trump is trying to throw money at her or the fact he didn't sleep with her?
  14. Donald Trump Stops Rally After Sign Falls on His Teleprompter After Claiming He Doesn’t Need One https://www.msn.com/en-gb/news/world/donald-trump-stops-rally-after-sign-falls-on-his-teleprompter-after-claiming-he-doesn-t-need-one/ar-AA1saddk https://www.dailydot.com/debug/trump-harris-teleprompter-univison/ “The teleprompter that displays a text written in Spanish was a support element for the town hall moderator,” Coronell said. “I can tell you this with first-hand knowledge because I was in charge of the television program.”
  15. 'My God' is, true enough, a common expression....I made it into a joke in relation to using the word 'MY'......hence the joke.....selfish. Three people attached laughing emojis so it wasn't too far out there.
  16. Dodged a bullet......went shopping there Wednesday......
  17. I can only listen to him for 2 minutes then I start to contemplate self-harming.
  18. Makes sense.....with climate change being a hoax the sea levels will begin to recede mainly due to the influx of illegal immigrants flushing their toilets 15 times a day.
  19. Maybe she needs to learn how to weave....then all will become crystal clear....555
  20. From the 'tinterweb.......but someone on here might be more clued up... Working for free in Thailand can still violate immigration laws, even if you are not being paid. Thailand has strict regulations regarding work for foreign nationals, and “work” is broadly defined. According to the Thai authorities, “work” includes any activity where one engages in an occupation, trade, or profession, whether compensated or not. This means even volunteering or unpaid work could be considered illegal if you don’t have the appropriate visa or work permit. Foreign nationals wishing to engage in any type of work in Thailand typically need a work permit, regardless of whether the work is paid or unpaid. If someone works without the necessary permit, they could face legal penalties, including fines, deportation, or being blacklisted from re-entering Thailand. To stay within the law, it’s essential to ensure that you have the proper visa and work authorization before engaging in any work, including voluntary or charitable activities.
  21. See that kind of driving all day every day on route 6.....and you (I) get drawn into do the same as there is no lane discipline. Lorries in the fast lane doing 40mph, cars in the middle lane 30mph and never ever changing lanes.....just sit there.
  22. Well worth a quick shufty.......could explain a great deal as to how Trump got to where he is...... Despotic leaders and religious systems serve similar psychological functions for those who are unwilling to take full responsibility for their own lives. By deferring to an external authority, whether political or divine, individuals can avoid the difficult task of making their own moral and ethical decisions. This abdication of responsibility is rooted in a desire for certainty and order in an unpredictable world, but it is ultimately a sign of weakness. Both forms of submission reflect a fear of freedom and an avoidance of the personal responsibility that comes with it. In a society that values liberty and self-determination, it is essential to recognize and challenge this tendency to relinquish control. True strength lies in the ability to navigate the complexities of life without surrendering to external forces, whether they manifest in the form of a tyrant or a deity.
