13 year old died just last week......coming back from school, clear, dry conditions.....smacked into the back of a tractor/trailer........probably on his phone!!!
Those using food banks are just too lazy to cook.....30p for a full meal.
Cannot heat their homes because they spend their money on drugs or are too stupid to budget.
Consumer debt spiraling out of control because the poor waste their benefit money on nights out, fags, beer and vodka shots.
I'll make a Tory yet.
I asked the wife how old the kids have to be to ride a motorbike?...….she said in Isaan as soon as they don't fall off they are old enough.......near us I would say most are about 12 to 13 when they start to ride......parents must buy them AND the modified exhausts they all have fitted.
Mine goes down about once every eight weeks......gets jammed with dead ants???
Might be worth repeatedly topping it on the top with a 'small' hammer then spraying with insecticide before buying a new one.....just a thought.
The vast majority of the smoke could be avoided by forcing the sugarcane processors to only accept sugarcane with the leaves..........the factories can then remove the leaves, mulch them and put them into landfill sites......or sell for generating energy in a controlled environment.
An issue I've not seen raised is roadside fires........apparently, to save the cost of managing roadside verges where we live, the authorities are setting fire to them during the burning season......presumably using this season to 'disguise' what they are doing.
A drop in the ocean....literally.....but better than nothing I guess.
The fires around the hills near us have been burning since mid-January........most days you can't even see the hills.
Drugs....mainly prescription type stuff like Xanax.....they always come across as quite polite and never hassle you......... in my experience......probably here illegally and want to minimise attention.
I wonder how these statistics might compare with other countries if multiple road deaths due to travel in flatbed trucks and people carriers were discounted ......might even be comparable with developed nations????
Interesting. We had a discussion today about the kids in the village.......all flatly refuse to work in the fields and spend all day hammering about on their exhaust, modified motorbikes........the times they are a changin'.
BKK soi 11 won't be paying any attention to this ban I'm sure.......we drank most days right through the total bans during covid lockdown......it helped that the owner's wife of one of the bars was a policeman I guess.
Found the same....could start off at 140/100 and slowly, with repeated tests, get down to 120/80.........I ended up taking four measurements ignored the highest and lowest, then took the average of the two middle results......all very ify.
Just seen one going past our front garden.......... slightly wider than the truck, the truck is obviously under powered for the job and there are no chains (should there be chains?)
