Mmmmm....getting that at the minute. The wife is no shrinking violet, but there are a few problems with the builder we have at the moment.....somethings she is happy to get sorted, but then she starts to second guess what the builder might not be happy about......... so she doesn't even mention them!!!

It is so frustrating.......why do Thais allow their lives to be marred in this way....

The 201 up to Chaiyaphum is so bad in places you can see where the cars sumps is hitting the tarmac. Totally irrelevant, but feel better for having pointed that out.

As a dog owner myself.....more than happy with that. All dogs should be 'owned'. Introduce a dog licence and make chipping compulsory to dissuade idiots from owning a dog. The funds can be used for so many other things.....vaccinations etc.

I dread to think how school meals are managed and controlled in terms of health and safety.......is there any chance only rigorously approved suppliers are issued contracts?

The single biggest problem is where U-turns for both directions are combined, neither side can see safely passed the other side also queuing to turn.......that and the drivers are Thai.

Many of these low-life tourists must have previous......I can never understand why they are allowed to travel abroad......violent crime should automatically mean a loss of your passport.....for say five years, in the hope they grow up.

I have a dog....he is collared 100% of the time. At home he has a two acre secure garden to pad around in (DW there) and he is never allowed out unless on a lead. Strangers, children in particular, are not allowed to pet him......just in case....he has never bitten anyone and is good natured....but I don't trust him or any other dog. If I walk him locally I carry a police baton due to the number of house dogs that are allowed to roam freely (no collars of course) and are frequently threatening. It seems that 99% of people don't think and couldn't care less if their dog attacks you.

They don't care...arrogant, ignorant, lacking in empathy, plain stupid.....put in a mixer and blend for 16 years......(not aimed at Thais by the way)

At the heart of incidents like this is a total lack of empathy......NOT a Thai thing by any means. People simply don't give a damn about anyone else.......loud music, driving dangerously, smoking in restaurants, getting drunk, disrupting flights...they don't give a flying....

Price gouging......everyone is at it......the economic climate lends itself to it.

No doubt, in my limited experience of being here on and of for 30 years, that Thai girls are at best not overly keen on kissing. I think they see it as something that is even more intimate than sex.
