  1. In western countries women take your kids and take all your <deleted> if you marry them. Surrogacy is becoming interesting for western men too.
  2. Surrogacy is very interesting for men who want kids but don't want a woman to have a gun to their heads. Other people probably get through the airport by paying the surrogate to go with them to the destination country and then return to Thailand. Of course, there is the risk that the surrogate will blackmail you over child custody.
  3. Be careful. You could <deleted> yourself up with un-intended long term effects. There is also a danger that you end up masking the underlying cause, and it comes back to bite you. I had one strange problem which turned out to be a tumor. You can buy generics for this all over the world. It is an SSRI which is used for premature ejaculation. https://pubchem.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/compound/Dapoxetine I prefer to keep an image of Prince Charles in the back of my mind. The problem is that sometimes this causes the launch to fail all together.
  4. That is terrible. I hope you don't jump out of that frying pan just as Thailand turns into a fire over social unrest. I'd recommend that you wait for a country to settle down to living with Covid long term, and where there is a clear path to re-employing the population. It is very dangerous to move to a country where a lot of people are out of work. Good luck.
  5. How is Myanmar worse in terms of how people are actually living? Is everything closed, are food shipment not getting through?
  6. The situation in Thailand is very uncertain. Government restrictions might end up costing you a lot of money. For example, you might be forced to fly home at short notice at a very high cost. It is currently too risky for someone with only $1k/month USD. Wait and see if things settle down.
  7. How does that fit in with germ theory? Normally it takes a viral load to transmit a virus, which means they have symptoms. Kids immune systems are so strong that infections just bounce off them. I agree that kids should be back at school. Their risk from Covid is so low it is not worth considering. Life has to go on.
  8. Israel is almost fully vaxed but the death rate is rising. https://www.jpost.com/breaking-news/covid-19-opposition-urges-emergency-knesset-session-on-hospital-crisis-677598 “Especially during this rise in COVID-19 morbidity" The pandemic is said to be going on in Iceland, Gibraltar, and other palces that are almost fully vaxed. Jabs are not the path back to the old normal. They are a path to more boosters, more lock downs, and a more restricted life. Who wants to live this way? This is not life.
  9. No those numbers are BS. Here the CDC admit that they just don't count breakthrough infections unless the person gets hospitalized or dies. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/health/article-9566619/CDC-stopped-counting-breakthrough-Covid-infection-fully-vaccinated-people.html
  10. Cases don't matter. These can be false positives, infections in people who don't even notice, infections in people who aren't seriously ill. They should only be allowed to report deaths and serious illness and this news must be balanced against suicides and other costs of lock downs. People who feel vulnerable can be given the option to isolate. Some vulnerable people may choose to live a free life over hiding at home and seeing the country suffer.
  11. Should people be required to have a health and fitness pass in order to eat fatty food? They are a huge liability to the health system. How many of the younger Covid deaths are for people who are obese? Thailand is in better shape than most western countries.
  12. The billionaires of the World Economic Forum say you will own nothing, you will have no privacy, and you will be happy. https://www.forbes.com/sites/worldeconomicforum/2016/11/10/shopping-i-cant-really-remember-what-that-is-or-how-differently-well-live-in-2030/ I'd say they got to 2 out of 3 so far. If they don't drop the lock down soon it will be hard to stop social unrest.
  13. I redid mine in 2018 and got "credit" for time left on the passport. I must have gotten my new passport just before they changed the system.
  14. Where have you seen research on “asymptomatic spreaders.” It was previously considered impossible (or near enough to impossible) for someone to spread a viral infection that they have no symptoms of. Basically, if you have enough of a virus in your system to spread it, it is going to manifest as symptoms. That is why Children were never seen as a risk for spreading Covid. Children have very powerful immune systems, so even if the virus enters their system, it is attacked and destroyed very quickly. When did that change in germ theory?
  15. This Covid business has been going on for eighteen months and people are sick of it. They haven't seen piles of bodies in the street which would justify these extreme measures which have changed the way we live. When you get the cops to enforce stupid laws people lose respect for them and they lose respect for the law. Obviously there is no sign that any of these measures are ever going away. So you can expect people to work around them.
  16. Thailand can't do anything about the PCR testing situation world wide. That is what is driving lock downs, causing businesses to close, and costing people their savings. One Canadian province stopped all Covid measures including all Covid tests. They got bullied into backing down. Thailand wouldn't get away with relaxing travel restrictions. It would make other countries look bad. One thing that Thailand could do is to copy some other countries advertising themselves as open to expats working from home [but in a foreign country]. A lot of people got sent home to do their office jobs. They shifted out of cities. Some of them can re-locate to Thailand. It would be awesome to work from an island or from the provinces.
