  1. Best bunch of tracks ever uploaded to YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sMttq9xPyHQ&list=PLGfw2RLtprdNTpnRfFZTiftCNnsUM1Yln
  2. Yes, I had the phone in my hand... but I found the problem! The guy at DTAC in Tesco Lotus said "Oh, you have turned off the Internet!" Not his exact words, but that's what he meant. So he clicked various things and the "4G" icon at the top of the screen started to show activity. I got him to add some money to my account anyway, while I was there, so I haven't actually tried to "Refill" again, but I'm fairly sure it will work now. If it doesn't, I'll post back here!
  3. I tried to add a few baht to DTAC using my phone and using my Windows 10 PC. Both times resulted in no OTP (one time password) being received on my phone. This was the attempt on Windows: Entered my number (when doing this on the phone, the number is already there), selected the amount and clicked "Refill": Entered my VISA card details on the DTAC site: Clicked "Submit", got sent to my bank's OTP authentication page and waited for the OTP on my phone: The OTP never arrived. So hit "Cancel": I did hit "Resend OTP" a couple of times. Each time the OTP Authentication page refreshed with a different "Ref:" code. Am I doing anything wrong? I used to get OTP's in the past, but can't remember if I ever got one from DTAC.
  4. I started using it on my XP PC ???? and now it's on my Win10 PC ???? .
  5. For file searching, I use Everything from Voidtools: https://download.cnet.com/Everything/3000-2379_4-10890746.html
  6. Unfortunately, I can't see how to get it to convert English audio to English text. It wants to translate from one language in to another.
  7. I have a 30 minute .mp3 file of a conversation between myself and my financial advisor. I'd like to make notes from it . Then I recalled seeing some automatically generated subtitles on YouTube videos. So I started looking for programs or websites that would generate text from .mp3 files. But there are so many and are so confusing that I thought I'd ask here if anyone has a recommendation. The .mp3 file is on a Windows 10 PC.
  8. You need to brush up on history. Boris Johnson has cast doubt on the prospects for a negotiated peace in Ukraine, comparing it to holding talks with a “crocodile” https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2022/apr/20/boris-johnson-casts-doubt-on-possibility-of-negotiated-peace-in-ukraine Boris Johnson Pressured Zelenskyy to Ditch Peace Talks With Russia: Ukrainian Paper https://www.commondreams.org/news/2022/05/06/boris-johnson-pressured-zelenskyy-ditch-peace-talks-russia-ukrainian-paper
  9. Yes - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Minsk_agreements & https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Revolution_of_Dignity re. the Minsk Accords: When Boris Johnson went to Ukraine in April, he told Zelensky not to negotiate for peace with Russia. All Russia wanted was for Ukraine not to join NATO. And now, here we are. Thanks Boris.
  10. Thanks very much for this . I started to watch it but couldn't carry on after the first minute. I'll watch it later after I've dried my eyes and composed myself.
  11. Thanks for the link. Yes, I'm afraid my mobile is very old - 2016, and runs a very old Android - 6.01. But the messages weren't a scam! I've just painstakingly translated them: ... and it says that I'm "entitled to apply for a loan for 150k baht"! I've obscured the bit.ly link in case it's related to me, but I think it was to a "Line" QR code. So, panic over, conspiracy theories put to one side, relax! But something turned off the Wi-Fi on my mobile and I'm sure I didn't push any buttons to do that. Maybe my old Android just screwed up. Note to self: get a new damn phone!
