Thai Tax Returns for Foreigners

Does the head of the TRD count as an authority? The Thai Revenue Department is drafting a law to tax the income of individuals residing in Thailand that originates from overseas. The draft follows the international principle of worldwide income under the residence rule, said Kulaya Tantitemit, the director-general of the department. https://www.bangkokpost.com/business/general/2860812/law-to-tax-income-from-overseas-in-the-works. -

Thai Tax Returns for Foreigners

I don't believe that immigration officials will start listing bribes received as income on their tax returns. But you can disregard that. I'm just guessing and you're not interested. -
Pattaya Wind Turbine Project Abandoned; New Landmark Proposed

They've essentially "invented" what the Chinese are installing in coastal cities, at a cost of $1K/unit. https://hyenergy.en.made-in-china.com/product/sMNmTJdUCehz/China-Wind-Solar-Hybrid-Street-Light-LED.html Reminds me of the off-the-shelf litter collection robot they slapped a "Made in Thailand" sticker on, and announced the new title of "Hub of Seaside Robotics." -

Thai Electric Cables Mostly Fail Global Safety Standards

Those are all foreign brands manufactured in foreign constructed factories, managed by foreigners, supplied with foreign sourced components, with final product inspected by foreign QC staff. -
In case you're wondering, the big, beautiful wall and the chain-link fences are found mostly around urban areas. There are hundreds and hundreds of miles where the "border" consists of rusty 3-strand cattle fence, in many places missing entirely. It's child's play to cross the border undetected in the rural districts. I know. I've been there. I've done it. When the Border Patrol boasts they've made xx,000 "contacts," that's just the foolish ones that got caught. There are millions more that make it undetected.

Thailand Overhauls Auto Tax to Boost Electric Vehicle Adoption

Cobalt goes in US-sourced batteries. China Tesla uses different batteries. While the cars look identical to those still made in America, there is one key difference: the batteries. Chinese Model 3s use lithium-iron phosphate (or lithium ferro phosphate/LFP) batteries instead of the previous lithium nickel cobalt aluminium oxide (NCA) batteries. https://evcentral.com.au/teslas-made-in-china-versus-the-usa-whats-the-difference-the-ultimate-model-3-sr-comparison-test/ -

Half of all Teslas are made in China. The Shanghai factory consistently builds more EVs than the three other sites—California, Texas, and Germany—combined. https://insideevs.com/news/715427/tesla-ev-production-shanghai-vs-global/ -

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand there it is. It's not a day ending in "Y" if Thailand doesn't announce yet another hub of hubbiness. Hubbing! -
No crying, not any longer. There won't be separated families. Trump's new border czar won't be a useless DEI hire. ... asked if mass deportations could be carried out without separating families, Homan said, "Of course there is. Families can be deported together." https://www.cbsnews.com/news/tom-homan-trump-border-czar-what-to-know/

The memory hole is deep. The Biden administration on Friday announced new temporary protected status for Haitians who arrived in the U.S. on or before June 3, 2024, to shield even those who entered the country illegally from being deported back to Haiti, which remains in the grip of gang violence. https://www.nbcnews.com/investigations/biden-admin-gives-protected-status-309000-haitians-rcna159438 "temporarily protected" ≠ legal During his next term, Trump will be "temporarily protected" from acts committed prior. Doesn't make his former actions legal. Or does it?

Bangkok plans cycling lanes to ease congestion in key districts
NoDisplayName replied to webfact's topic in Bangkok News
Why is this needed? Bangkok already has walk-drive lanes. They are knows as sidewalks. -
Not sure what you're trying to say here. A program to bring in millions of illegals "legally" to circumvent immigration law is bizarre. Ending the program will allow deportation, then they can go to embassies or consulates and get in line and apply like all the other brain scientists and rocket surgeons. Trucking in tens of millions, spending billions on socialist programs, all in the hopes of creating new voters all dependent on your regime's government programs is democracy. Winning the electoral vote, all the swing states, and the popular vote by a yuuuuuuuuuuuge margin is totalitarian.

If they are here legally, they have documentation to support that. If they are undocumented, they have no legal basis to remain. As Trump will be dictator, shirley, he has the authority to end Humanitarian Parole and TPS. An executive order should be enough to deport the millions of documented aliens on these programs. They have applied for the programs, submitting documents, and been approved, receiving other documents. So, ummm, not undocumented.
