  1. What do you think? Are most places normally busier at this time of year?
  2. The road condition is generally good i agree, the people on them is the issue or are you suggesting it's safer to drive here than in the UK?
  3. i have a 255 model, think it was about 7K so a new 155 model i'd expect to be less. Don't see the point messing about with a 'fix' tbh.
  4. too noisy, too ugly and too impractical.
  5. Correct, but if you think it's anything like driving here then you're sadly mistaken. I hope you stay safe on the roads here.
  6. I know enough never to want one. None of my bikes have never been in the back of a pick up, strange comment. Are HD parts available on the shelf in Thailand, not likely methinks.
  7. You should ride as the traffic dictates, i'm sure where you were 'trained' is not the same as here, therefore making you vulnerable. Stay safe!
  8. Jealous of what, people thinking i'm a tool, as that's what most of the people i know think about HD owners. I have a 'flashy' Ducati but it's bought for what i need it for which is touring, lovely bike, so comfortable. Probably.
  9. No i certainly have not and never will, awful bikes. From what i've seen having driven proper touring bike(s) all over thailand ( GS's and MS's ) numerous times is they're not used for touring. They're used for polishing and posting wannabe pictures on FB. Horrible machines.
  10. Leave it by the road side - lol
  11. HD's are not for touring, they're for people who like to be looked at.
  12. Motorbike taxis drivers are either criminals or grasses, trust none of them!

Maybe you could help get the business up and running, you certainly sound like an expert.
  14. I know 3 guys that have made at least 5 or 6 entries this year the same way, no questions.
  15. I'd take your chances over a Thai doing it properly, have you experienced their quality?
  16. I'm a big boy now and don't need my wife to take care of my business, unlike you by the sounds of it. At Savanakhet it's 100% hassle free, they need 5 or 6 pieces of paper and the fee, that's it - so much simpler.
  17. I'm not afraid, i'd just much rather not have to deal with these cretins.
  18. You miss my point entirely. I'm not trying to impress anyone, no one is catching me out, i simply choose to get a Non O from outside Thailand instead on an extension, is that too difficult for you to understand? What's a card??? what card are you?
