  1. No. They want to check you've entered the country legally i guess.
  2. You expect logic, here in Thailand? How long have you been here....
  3. This is not true where i live. I went from extensions back to Non O coz it's less hassle. Arrive home, do what you want, report to no one. No need for the mountains and mountains of paperwork and the IO attitude for extensions, pop over to Savanakhet for 2 days - job done.
  4. But i have a small grey tag mounted on dashboard, and yes, it's for Mflow and not Mpass and the other one. Pls explain?
  5. That's wonderful, i'm happy for both you and your friend.
  6. I would like to go the other way due to current EX rate, THB-GBP.
  7. This is great if you're talking massive amounts of money but for normal people this really makes very little difference. When the £ is low i get paid ( with £ ) into a £ account, when it suits i change to baht.
  8. I'd also like to send a big amount of baht to £ to take advantage, do you not get questioned in Oz when large amounts come in from overseas?
  9. Yeah, roundabout with 'hill starts' from every direction, not good in Land of XXXX
  10. Have you heard of Bolt? Do you have 10 beers every night? Not all of us feel the need for that and the sensible ones tend to have a sensible plan if they're having a scoof.
  11. Yeah, that's what i did with my UK license, basically just winged it, don't have a big bike license in uk but pointed to the silhouette you mention. This is in rural Thailand where they're unfamiliar with foreign licenses, plus like you say i don't think they really cared.
  12. I've only had Mflow and have a small grey tag on dashboard. If no tag, pls explain how it works?
  13. What's the standard height for kitchen units, 900mm?
  14. What you're suggesting ( an eye for an eye ) would lead to a completely lawless society full of violence. Let me make this clear, i don't think hitting women is acceptable but killing people in revenge ( for anything ) is not the answer.
  15. He might be squashed. When i was younger, a friend of mines life was saved by being thrown clear out the windscreen in a crash, he was left with horrific scars tho, my other friend who was buckled up unfortunately died. In this instance you maybe be correct, it may have been, and usually always is, better to be buckled up. Not a common wreck this one.
  16. Not sure what good seat belts would have done toppling 30m down a hill and flipping multiple times? But yeah clunk click does the trick.
  17. What happens when a group of cowardly Thais out number and attack farangs - very common, we all know the answer is nothing. I find it amusing some Thais got a good kicking.... They're hunting the culprits down nationwide - spot the difference....
  18. I have a condo in Cozy beach i use maybe once or twice a month, the long weekends, NY and Songkran are a proper ball ache at that crazy junction near the police box, total gridlock. The rest of the time the traffic is bearable.
  19. Erm, get a bike or a car? no matter where you live i'd consider that essential.
  20. I've seen at least 3 or 4 different spellings on road signs. At the end of the day who cares, everyone will understand where you mean no matter how you pronounce it.
  21. This was the deal with mine, paid 120K about 10 years ago. Depth 108m, sub pump hung off at 105m, 16m cased with 6" or 8" PVV piping.
  22. Big cities in UK the same, needles lying about everywhere in certain areas, Pattaya has nothing that resembles this.
